- The Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams in the first meeting 30-29, which was played in Seattle
- The Rams offense scored 34 points last week but averaged 14.8 points per game over their previous four contests
- With their win on Monday Night Football, the Seahawks are now tied for the top seed in the NFC
The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams engaged in an epic Thursday Night Football earlier in the year where Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein missed a potential game-winning 44-yard field goal at the buzzer. The Seahawks are posted at -2.5 for the rematch but which way will the line move by the time the game kicks off?
Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |

Seattle Seahawks | -2.5 (-115) | +115 | Over 46.5 (-110) |
Los Angeles Rams | +2.5 (-105) | -135 | Under 46.5 (-110) |

Rams Come to Life Against Hapless Cardinals
The Rams had played three straight ugly weeks of football, so a big win in Week 13 was quite welcome – even if it was against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. The Rams rolled 34-7 and their 27-point margin of victory tied for their best of the season.
Where’s all that hate on Goff now?? ? Get em Jared!! #LARams #LAvsAZ #JaredGoff #RamsHouse #RamNation #Sunday pic.twitter.com/4obKBdjlcY

The Cardinals, whose pass defense allows a league-worst 307.5 yards per game, made Jared Goff look like a Pro Bowler again as he finished with 424 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Goff had totaled just 628 passing yards, no touchdowns and five interceptions in his previous three games. Todd Gurley finished with 95 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
The question is how will Goff and the offense play now that they have to face another decent defense? Almost all of their losses are to teams that have respectable-to-elite defenses. They scored 29 on the Seahawks in the first meeting this season and if they get to that number again, they’ll have a good shot to win.
Seahawks Move Into First Place in the NFC West
With the San Francisco 49ers losing to the Baltimore Ravens and the Seahawks winning on Monday Night Football, it’s Seattle who now has moved into the top spot in the NFC West. That’s important because it pushes the 49ers down to the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
LET’S GO! What a bomb right into the hands of David Moore! ?

The Seahawks earned a big win on Monday as they outlasted the Minnesota Vikings 37-30. The Seahawks were electric on the ground, rushing for 218 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Russell Wilson threw a bizarre pick-six but also finished 21-of-31 for 240 yards, two touchdowns and a pick.
Which Way Will the Line Move?
It’s quite telling that we see the Seahawks as a road favorite in this spot. The oddsmakers are telling us that these teams are not that evenly matched – even if the Rams nearly won the first matchup, which was in Seattle.
FINAL: The @Seahawks are now in 1st place in the NFC West! #Seahawks #MINvsSEA

The Rams offense has had some serious issues over the last couple of months and nobody is fooled after their get-well game against the hapless Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks are red-hot right now with an NFC-best five-game winning streak. That’s likely to sway bettors to pile on.
I’m not expecting a huge jump in this line but I do expect the Seahawks to be favored at -3 by kickoff. There are currently a number of 2.5’s on the board, so if you like the Seahawks, get in now.
