The Cincinnati Bengals will try to pull off a rare season sweep of the Steelers when they host Pittsburgh at 1:00 p.m. ET Sunday in an AFC North game at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Bengals beat the Steelers 24-10 on Sept. 26 in Week 3 in Pittsburgh. However, Cincinnati hasn’t beaten Pittsburgh twice in the same season since 2009.

With the division standings bunched up, both teams could use a win. The Baltimore Ravens (7-3) hold a one-game lead over the Bengals (6-4), who are followed by the Steelers (5-4-1) and Cleveland Browns (6-5).

The Bengals, who are favored in a game that will be televised by CBS, broke a two-game losing streak last week with a 32-13 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Steelers have a loss and a tie since winning four straight games.

Steelers Offense vs Bengals Defense

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returned to the lineup last week after missing one game following a positive COVID-19 test and shined in a 41-37 loss to the Chargers in Los Angeles.

Roethlisberger showed no rust as he completed 28 of 44 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns. He also spread the ball around by throwing scoring passes to wide receiver Diontae Johnson and tight ends Eric Ebron and Pat Freiermuth.

Since a rocky start to the season, the 39-year-old Roethlisberger has been outstanding. He has a 104.3 passer rater over his past five games while throwing nine touchdown passes and no interception.

Roethlisberger had four TDs and four picks in four games to begin the year.

Bengals Offense vs Steelers Defense

Bengals running back Joe Mixon broke out in the second half against the Raiders after struggling for yardage for 2.5 games. He had just 26 yards on 11 carries in the first half then went for 97 yards in 19 attempts over the final two quarters to finish with 123 yards on a season-high 30 carries.

Mixon had 97 yards combined in the previous two games, losses to the Browns and New York Jets.

The Steelers are 26^th in the NFL in run defense and allowed Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert to amass 90 yards on the ground. Inside linebackers Devin Bush and Joe Schobert both had trouble finishing tackles.

The Chargers finished with 533 total yards, the most allowed by the Steelers since giving up 610 to the New England Patriots in 2013. The Steelers do get standout outside linebacker T.J. Watt (hip and knee) and strong safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (COVID-19) back after they missed last week’s game.

Rookie kicker Evan “Money Mac” McPherson is becoming a weapon for the Bengals. Last week, he became the first kicker in franchise history to make three field goals of 50 or more yards in a single game.

Mixon ran for 90 yards in the Bengals’ win in Pittsburgh two months ago. Quarterback Joe Burrow was an efficient 14-of-18 passing for 172 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bengals intercepted Roethlisberger twice and sacked him four times.

Ebron (knee) and center J.C. Hassenauer (pectoral) have been ruled out for the Steelers. Cornerback Joe Haden (foot) is listed as questionable.
