There’s just one ticket left to the AFC Championship, and the Houston Texans and New England Patriots will battle on Sunday to determine who takes on the Denver Broncos.

Scoring may be at a premium in Texans/Patriots, which carried the lowest total into the Divisional Round. The Texans have ripped off nine wins in a row, powered by a defense that ranks first in scoring.

Texans vs Patriots Touchdown Scorer Odds

The lead running backs on both teams lead the way with the best odds to score an anytime TD. New England’s Rhamondre Stevenson sits at +165 odds, while Woody Marks is right behind him at +170.

Texans vs Patriots Anytime Touchdown Bet #1: Rhamondre Stevenson

• Dawson Knox Anytime TD (+165) at FanDuel

Perhaps the only surprise here is that Rhamondre Stevenson has plus odds to find the endzone against the Texans.

The fifth-year man has been a TD machine for the Patriots of late, and even though he was held out of the endzone in the Wild Card round in a 16-3 win over the Chargers, he was still mighty productive, with 53 yards rushing and 75 yards receiving.

Prior to that game, Stevenson had tallied six touchdowns in his previous three contests.

Rhamondre Stevenson Last Four Games

Stevenson operates as the lead back for the rushing attack, but he’s also Maye’s security blanket on the checkdown, which means he should be heavily involved in the offensive package.

Houston ranked fourth against the rush this season, one of five teams to hold opponents less than 100 yards per game, but they did allow 13 rushing scores on the year. Stevenson will have every chance to make it 14 on Sunday.

Texans vs Patriots Anytime Touchdown Bet #2: Nick Chubb

I know Woody Marks is the lead back for the Texans, and if Houston intends to advance on the AFC side of the NFL playoff bracket, he’ll likely need to have a productive day.

That doesn’t mean backup veteran Nick Chubb can’t contribute, and he’s got a great +1200 line to do that. He’s only had three touchdowns on the season, and just one since the Texans came off their Week 6 bye, a total of nine games.

Chubb isn’t just getting garbage-tine work. In the Wild Card round against the Steelers, Chubb got 10 carries, good for 48 yards.

In a game with stakes this high, there’s a chance the Texans lean into the veteran, who’s currently backing up rookie 4th-rounder Woody Marks, who has just one TD catch in his final seven games of the year.

While Chubb won’t supplant Marks’ carries, we’re banking on him to steal some red zone touches and perhaps turn one of those into a TD.
