There’s big news in Big D in the NFL Week 7 injury list: the 4-2 Dallas Cowboys are welcoming back QB1 Dak Prescott as they play host to Detroit Lions. He’s missed the past five games with a fractured thumb. The Cowboys, 6.5-point home favorites over the 1-4 Lions, also saw WR CeeDee Lamb (hip) removed from any injury designation this week.

The news is not so good for the Lions. Returning from their bye week, Detroit remains without WR DJ Chark (ankle) and RB D’Andre Swift (ankle/shoulder). Detroit WR Josh Reynolds (ankle) is playing. Chalk has been placed on IR.

The Denver Broncos will be playing the surprising New York Jets minus QB1 Russell Wilson. Their big offseason addition is down with a hamstring ailment. The Washington Commanders will be without QB1 Carson Wentz (finger) and WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) as they’re facing the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is thin at WR. Both Randall Cobb and Christian Watson are out with hamstring injuries. Still, it’s the Packers who are  4.5-point road favorites in the NFL odds.

Taking on the Chicago Bears in the Week 7 MNF game, the New England Patriots are still waiting to make a determination to the status of QB1 Mac Jones (ankle), but expectations are that he’ll be playing. The Indianapolis Colts are getting back RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Nyheim Hines (concussion) for their big AFC South showdown with the Tennessee Titans. However, LB Shaquille Leonard is out with a laundry list of injuries that include nose, ankle, and concussion issues.

NFL Week 7 Inactives

Facing the Cleveland Browns in a key AFC South matchup, the Baltimore Ravens found out the RB JK Dobbins will again be going under the knife. Only recently returned from offseason knee surgery, expectations are that he’ll be undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. That will sideline him 4-6 weeks. The Ravens have activated RB Gus Edwards (knee), something to watch  when playing NFL player props.

The Los Angeles Chargers are facing the Seattle Seahawks down TD Donald Parham Jr and WR Josh Palmer, both with concussions. Meanwhile WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) will sit out of the sixth successive game. Expectations are he’ll be good to go for Week 8.

As well, the Chargers are missing kicker Dustin Hopkins. He strained a hamstring in Monday’s 19-16 win over Denver. Taylor Bertolet is being activated from the practice squad for the game. Seattle is without WR Penny Hart (hamstring). He didn’t practice at all this week.
