  • Oilers vs Stars player props are available for Game 2 of the Western Conference Final
  • Miro Heiskanen has made it a habit of recording plenty of points in playoff tilts
  • Read below for the best Oilers vs Stars player prop bets for Friday night

The Western Conference Final continues tonight, after the Dallas Stars came roaring back to win Game 1 on Wednesday. Dallas trailed 3-1 entering the third period, but they rifled off five goals, three of which were on the power play to draw first blood in the series. The Oilers defeated the Stars in the Western Conference Final last year in six games, with their adversaries looking to exact a measure of revenge this time around.

The Stars’ Mikko Rantanen and Miro Heiskanen are two players to keep an eye on in the prop market for Game 2. While the Oilers Evan Bouchard leads all d-men with pucks on net, his shot production warrants a closer look.

Let’s dive into the best Oilers vs Stars player prop picks.

Corey Perry (EDM)+425+160OFF
Evan Bouchard (EDM)+425-145O 2.5 (+105)
Miro Heiskanen (DAL)+500-105O 1.5 (-162)

The Western Conference Final player props show Leon Draisaitl with the best odds to score in Game 2 at +115, which is an implied probability of 46.51%. It’s Draisaitl’s Oilers teammate Connor McDavid, however, who has the best odds to get at least one point at -525 odds.

Oilers vs Stars Prop Bet #1: Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goal Scorer

  • Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goal Scorer (+145)

Mikko Rantanen has had quite the wild stretches this postseason – just 1 assist his first four games, then a whopping nine goals and eight assists his next six contests, followed by just two assists his last four affairs.

Rantanen is due to light the lamp in Game 2. He hasn’t gone five straight postseason duels without a goal since way back in 2022. He’s tops this postseason in goals (9) and points (20). At +145 odds, he sports solid value to snipe one.

Oilers vs Stars Prop Pick #2: Miro Heiskanen 1+ Points

  • Miro Heiskanen 1+ points (-105)

A player that can rack up a lot of points is Stars blueliner Miro Heiskanen. Since he entered the league in 2018-19, his 65 playoff points are fourth most amongst defensemen. He’s played the last four games following knee surgery that kept him out since late January, picking up a point in three of them.

Couple that with him getting on the scoresheet in the last five regular-season battles, and the Finn has picked up a point in eight of nine. Additionally, he’s been a clutch playoff performer, with points in eleven of the last 16 times lacing the skates up.

I absolutely loved his +100 odds to get a point late Thursday night. They’re not quite as appealing at -105 now, but I’m still bullish on Heiskanen. In a perfect world, he sets up Rantanen for a goal to kill two birds with one stone.

Oilers vs Stars Player Prop #3: Evan Bouchard Under 2.5 Shots

  • Evan Bouchard Under 2.5 Shots (-135)

At first blush, I was excited to wager on Evan Bouchard over 2.5 shots, considering it was paying out +105. The reason that seemed so alluring is because he leads all blueliners in shots in the postseason with 31. However, delving into his recent game logs tell a different story.

In seven of his last eight outings, Bouchard has gone under 2.5 shots. His total of 31 pucks on net is bloated because he had four shots in two of his first three playoff duels, then had an obscene nine shots in an outing against the Kings in the first round. I’m not taking the bait that I initially was intrigued by, so I’m selecting under 2.5 shots for Bouchard.
