Companies often hire brand ambassadors to hawk their product on social media, but there’s no better brand ambassador than Facebook. Were the social media giant to launch its own cryptocurrency, it would be a game-changing development for bitcoin and blockchain. It would bring cryptocurrency into the mainstream.
Books aren’t confident that Facebook is in any hurry to make such a move. At the same time, the sportsbook isn’t sold on the idea that it won’t happen.
They are offering the same odds if you bet on Facebook to make this happen as you’ll get if you wager on the multi-billion dollar company not doing so.
On the other hand, they favor tech leader Samsung to go ahead and launch its own form of crytocurrency prior to the end of 2019.

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg appears to be playing the long game when it comes to cryptocurrency. At this point, it seems likely that it will happen. On the other hand, it appears almost certain that it will happen later rather than sooner.
The proposal put forth by the social media icon involves getting some of the world’s most prominent merchants to invest in establishing a fund that figures to be in excess of $1 billion.
The idea is that by holding such an established bankroll, Facebook’s form of cryptocurrency could avoid the wild swings in value that frighten investors about Bitcoin.

Recent reports revealed that Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 smartphones will include features allowing access to cryptocurrency and blockchain.
Other sources are reporting that Samsung intends to go one step further and develop its own cryptocurrency tokens for use with its new phones.
The Galaxy S10 is scheduled for a June 4th release.

Facebook, though, doesn’t seem to be in any hurry. Their plan is going to be a game changer in the way people purchase items. They’ll want it to work seamlessly from the start, because Facebook is all about keeping us tied to Facebook.
The safe play here is no. It’s doubtful that they’ll get such a major gambit rolling by the end of 2019.
