And then there were four.

After a dynamite and dramatic quarterfinal Wednesday, Men’s Hockey takes center stage again at Milano Cortina 2026, highlighted by the Canadians battling Finland for a chance to play in the Gold Medal game.

It’s a matchup of two of the three top-scoring teams in the tournament, but the books have the total set at just 5.5 goals, with Finland potentially trying to turn this into a slugfest with a goal-to-take-all ending.

That will be tough to do, even with the Canadians a little dinged up. After scouring the odds, check out my favorite Canada vs Finland props below, including a big game from Connor McDavid.

Canada vs Finland Anytime Goalscorer Odds

Not surprising that the electric trio of McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Macklin Celebrini top the list of anytime goal scorers and are the only ones with minus odds to light the lamp.

The drop-off is steep after that, though, with Mikko Rantanen the next in line at +285 odds. And while we do like McDavid for more than an anytime goal, there is true value down the board, as you’ll see.

Canada vs Finland Props #1: Connor McDavid 3+ Points

• McDavid 3+ points (+160 at DraftKings)

With Sidney Crosby likely missing this game after getting injured against Czechia, there’s no doubt that this team is Connor McDavid’s to lead (if that wasn’t already a foregone conclusion).

He’s been by far the best player on the ice at Milano Cortina, though scoring-wise, he’s coming off his worst game of the tournament, picking up two assists in the win over Czechia.

That’s how high his standard is: the Oilers’ star had picked up at least three points in each of the three previous games.

The Finns will try to put a defensive shell on the neutral zone and primarily work on counterattacks and the power play, so it’ll be up to McDavid to set the tone, without Crosby in the wings to bail him out if necessary.

McDavid has lit up Finnish goalie Juuse Saros of late too: he recorded two assists against Nashville in a 4-3 OT win on Jan 13, then tallied three times against him in a 6-2 demolition on Jan 6.

Canada vs Finland Props #2: Sebastian Aho Anytime Goalscorer

• Sebastian Aho Anytime Goalscorer (+400 at DraftKings)

There probably isn’t a goaltender scarier and clutch than Canada’s Jordan Binnington — and I mean that in a good way. He’s been terrific since taking the reins at the 4 Nations, and he needed to come up with some huge saves to keep Canada alive in it’s 4-3 OT win over Czechia.

But the guy is going to give up a few goals, and there’s tremendous value way down the board with Sebastian Aho — Finland’s leading goal scorer at Milano Cortina — getting +400 odds to score a goal.

That probably has something to do with the fact that Aho last scored on Binnington in 2023, a span of six games between the Hurricanes and Blues. But in a one-game playoff? Give me those odds all day.

Aho was the catalyst in the comeback against the Swiss, scoring with just over six minutes left to cut the lead to 2-1, a game they would eventually tie before Artturi Lehkonen ended it in OT.

He’s been generating chances in a mix with a bunch of Finns, who have between 10-15 shots on goal, but Aho is converting at the best clip of 25%.

Canada vs Finland Props #3: Cale Makar 2+ Points

• Cale Makar 2+ Points (+110 at DraftKings)

He’s been by far the best defenseman for Canada, and Cale Makar might need to be a bigger x-factor Friday against Finland to get the attack moving.

Makar is second on the team in shots on goal with 15, though he has just one goal and three assists so far through four games.

His stats just haven’t shown up since the turn of the calendar. In 20 games since Jan 1, Makar has just three multi-point nights in 20 games.

But again, if Crosby’s out, it’s generation next’s turn up, and counting on Makar to deliver in big games on the international stage should be a given — at least at +110 odds.
