Keselowski Crushes It At Las Vegas

Joey Logano has won two of the last three races in Las Vegas but overall, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone with a better track record here than Brad Keselowski since 2013. Over the last 10 races in Las Vegas, Keselowski has never finished worse than seventh, which includes picking up three wins.

The concern with Kes is that he’s been a little cold of late. He placed 34th last week at Bristol and while he won at Richmond the week before, he was 11th, 10th, eighth, ninth, 13th and 39th in his previous six starts. Even so, his track record is so strong in Vegas that we should expect another good outing.

Joey Logano for a Top 10?

Logano has turned his season around over the last couple of months as he had just five finishes in the Top 10 in his first 17 races. Since then, he has finished in the top 10 spots 11 times in his last 14 races and one of them was a near-miss with an 11th. Over his last three starts, he’s finished 11th, third and third.

Logano has a stellar track record on this track as he’s finished in the Top 10 in nine straight races in Las Vegas. During that time, he’s picked up two wins, a runner-up and three fourth-place finishes. Whether you’re looking at outrights, head-to-head matchups or a top 10 prop, Logano looks like a good option.

Bet On Blaney?

If there’s someone a bit further down the list to consider this week, it might be Ryan Blaney. He’s only made eight starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway but in those starts, he has an average finish of exactly 10th. He has finished 11th or better in six of his last seven starts and his two misses were 22nd and 19th, so it’s not as if he’s been way off.

Be wary of betting him for the outright win as he has just one win on the season (Talladega) and hasn’t been close in recent weeks. He’s finished 12th or worse in seven of his last eight outings. However, given his track record here, a top 10 flier might be worth looking at.
