- Massive ‘last eight’ week in the UEFA Champions League
- Manchester City on course for quadruple
- Messi to rule the roost at Old Trafford
It doesn’t get much bigger in European football than the quarterfinal stage of the UCL, and with four juicy looking ties coming up this week there are some equally juicy bets out there.
Leg 1 matches will be played on Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10.
So, it’s a good time to have a look at some Champions League props to consider – one from each of the four games.
Prop #1: Salah to Score Twice and Firmino to Provide One Assist
Player Props | Odds |
---|---|
Mohamed Salah to score two goals or more | +300 |
Roberto Firmino to provide one assist | +250 |
Parlay | +1300 |
All odds taken on 04/09/2019.
Liverpool are favorites to get the job done against Porto, both in the first leg at their Anfield home and in the tie as a whole. We expect them to win comfortably, with the Portuguese champions struggling to cope with their high-tempo, high-pressing style.

Mo Salah, after a lean spell in front of goal, looks to have rediscovered his goalscoring touch and in tandem with the hardworking Firmino we can see them linking up and causing Porto major problems.
Prop #2: Kane to Score and Fernandinho to Be Carded
Player Props | Odds |
---|---|
Tottenham’s Harry Kane to score | +140 |
Man City’s Fernandinho to be carded | +150 |
Parlay | +500 |
It’s a huge night in Tottenham’s new stadium in this all-English quarterfinal first leg. City, who are still on for an incredible four trophies this season, will look to take something back to the Etihad – either a draw or an away goal would be seen as okay – but we think the north Londoners can take a lead up to Manchester next week.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane loves the big occasion and is yet to score in the new stadium, but we don’t think he’ll miss out again. Also, City’s ‘enforcer’, Fernandinho, will make it his business to put his foot in, so a combined bet makes perfect sense.
Prop #3: Ronaldo to Score Twice and Chiellini to Be Carded
Player Props | Odds |
---|---|
Ronaldo to score twice | +450 |
Chiellini to be carded | +250 |
Parlay | +1825 |
Ajax, from the Netherlands, have done brilliantly to get this far in the competition and let’s not forget, their young team knocked the mighty Real Madrid out of the tournament in the round-of-16.
But Juventus are a team packed full of European experience and are past masters at handling tricky away games.

In Giorgio Chiellini, Juve have one the best defenders in the world but he likes a late tackle, especially if it saves his team a goal. So a parlay with him getting booked and Ronaldo – who should be fit to play – scoring twice makes for a good-looking bet.
Prop #4: Rakitic to Hit 95+ Passes and Messi to Have 7+ Shots
Player Props | Odds |
---|---|
Rakitic to hit 95 or more passes | +108 |
Messi to have seven or more shots | +127 |
Parlay | +336 |
Two of Europe’s giants clash at Old Trafford, with Barcelona hoping to do what PSG did in the round-of-16 and take a lead away from Manchester ahead of the second leg. And with Messi in unstoppable form, we think they will do just that.
It’s a big ask for United and we can see Barcelona having a lot of the ball, with Rakitic at the heart of everything in the centre of their midfield, and Messi having ample opportinities to shoot. It’s a parlay well worth considering.
