On Tuesday afternoon, Dinamo Zagreb hosts RB Salzburg in a pivotal Group E fixture. Currently, RB Salzburg leads the group on five points, after an unbeaten first half. Nonetheless, Matthias Jaissle’s side still only has the third-best chances to qualify from Group E with odds of +150, behind both Chelsea and AC Milan. If Dinamo Zagreb vs RB Salzburg goes in favor of the visitors, it will put them in a very favorable position going into the final two matchdays.
Conversely, Dinamo Zagreb sit bottom of the group on three points, thanks to a lone win over Chelsea. Since the group’s margins are so narrow, Zagreb could jump as high as second with a victory. However, it will be no easy task going up against a team that is unbeaten in their last twelve matches across all competitions. Zagreb were outplayed last week, and will need to find some sort of offensive spark to get anything from this match.

Overall, the moneyline does favor the away side, with odds of +155, while Zagreb sits at +180. Historically, in seven European contests dating back to 2009, RB Salzburg are 4-2-1 against Dinamo Zagreb.
While it was a narrow victory last week, it did feel like Salzburg could nick another goal. If they can manage to slow down Mislav Orsic once again, those +155 odds seem a little less daunting. Another win for Salzburg would put them in a great position to advance and inevitably shorten their outright Champions League odds, where they are currently a +20000 afterthought.
Over/Under & Draw No Bet Odds
Furthermore, this game is expected to stay on the tame side in regards to goals scored. The under on 2.5 total goals has odds of -130, which is fair considering it has hit in 83.3% of their combined group stage matches so far. Again, since these sides are so evenly matched, it makes it hard to see one team breaking through on multiple occasions.

The other play I have my eyes on for Dinamo Zagreb vs RB Salzburg, is the Salzburg draw no bet. This takes the risk out of a draw, and still offers -125 odds. While this play is a little juicy, it is not enough for me to stay away from it.

Dinamo Zagreb vs RB Salzburg Prediction
Regardless, there is a facet of this match that does offer a bit of risk. It is naïve to think it is easy to do the double on a team you just played seven days ago. Moreover, I would be remiss not to also mention that Zagreb had a full week’s worth of rest, with no domestic competition at the weekend.
With Orsic playing up top, Dinamo Zagreb always offers the danger of scoring a goal. The Croatian has bagged 0.61 goals per ninety minutes in the last year, putting him in the 92nd percentile of forwards in Europe’s top leagues.

Still, I do think Salzburg will win; and I will take that play, with the needed cover of the draw no bet. Die Roten Bullen have not lost since July 30th, and I do not expect them to do so on Tuesday afternoon.
Their offense offers variety with the likes of Okafor and Benjamin Sesko. On the back line, they are utterly stingy, only allowing multiple goals on two occasions this year. In turn, I am riding with the RB Salzburg draw no bet, in hopes they top Group E.
