The EPL is now truly in full swing, with games coming thick and fast until the fall version of the World Cup. This weekend, I have three EPL picks that are worth your while.

With fives matches played, it is already difficult to recount the surprises and storylines of the new English top-flight season. Firstly, Arsenal have been a delight so far. Gabriel Jesus has them striking on all cylinders, but their first real test this weekend against Manchester United will be one to watch. Erling Haaland has Manchester City on cruise control, which is good enough for them to sit in second place. Although, they still have the best EPL odds at -250.

Elsewhere, Liverpool looks to leave their slow start in the rearview, with a third successive win against Everton in the Merseyside Derby.

EPL Picks for Matchday 6

Overall, Liverpool and Manchester City are the only two road favorites this week at -265 and -295, respectively. One game with double, plus moneyline odds is Brentford vs Leeds United. With Rodrigo out for the foreseeable future, it is hard to disagree with Brentford winning at home, with odds of +112.

Everton vs Liverpool Prediction

Despite their positions in the table, do not expect an easy game for Liverpool at Goodison Park. While the Reds have not lost in their last eight games across Stanley Park, they have only won three. Furthermore, this is the second most-drawn fixture in the EPL, which leads me astray from the moneyline odds in my EPL picks.

While I do not want the risk, I would predict a narrow Liverpool win. They have won two on the bounce against Bournemouth and Newcastle, and have finally shown a bit of grit and character. Also, Harvey Elliot and Fabio Carvalho have been molded perfectly into Jurgen Klopp’s midfield, which should provide an offensive spark.

However, the EPL pick I want to focus on is in the corner market. Liverpool will have to fight for a goal, and frankly, Everton’s defenders are not great clearers of the ball. Their matches have averaged 13.2 total corners this year. In turn, I would hammer the over on 10.5 total corners in this Merseyside Derby.

Pick: Over 10.5 corners (+112)

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Prediction

Both of these sides are looking to shake off last-minute sinkers from the midweek. Newcastle’s time-wasting efforts lost them two points at Anfield, while Wilfried Zaha’s Palace side shared points with Brentford.

If anything, you can expect an absolutely raucous atmosphere in this fixture. Newcastle at home are a different beast, and St. James Park has had an aura around it lately. The job Eddie Howe has done there goes without describing, as they are 8-3-1 in their last 12 home matches.

However, the Magpies are dealing with quite the list of injuries including the likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson. Palace have also won two of their last four trips to Newcastle, which makes me wary of being too confident in the hosts.

Instead, I will ride with the under on 2.5 total goals, which has hit in 11 of their last 13 head-to-head meetings.

Pick: Under 2.5 Total Goals (-127)

Brighton vs Leicester City Prediction

Finally, I am going to side with another favorite in Brighton for my EPL picks. I love their moneyline odds (-114) against Leicester City, a side they took four points off of last year.

Graham Potter has been brilliant as their manager, and they have finally turned their home record around. Last season, they went 5-7-7 at home, the 16th worst record in the EPL. Now, they have won three out of four at the Amex Stadium, in Premier League play.

Luckily, they are going against a putrid Leicester City side this weekend. The Foxes have the lowest point tally, the second worst goals conceded mark and xG total and the fourth worst xGD. Brendan Rodgers is in serious trouble and his players look just disinterested at the moment.

Pick: Brighton ML (-114)
