Finishing with a record of 26-7-5 and 85 points, Arsenal claimed their fourth Premier League title last season, and fourteenth overall top division championship. The Gunners’ point total barely surpassed the 84 from Liverpool the previous season and was the second-lowest winning total since Leicester City’s 81 points in 2015/16. But by winning their last four games as rivals Manchester City dropped points, Arsenal were able to clinch the title with one game to spare.

Rounding out the Top 4 were Manchester City at 78 points, Manchester United at 71, and Europa League winners Aston Villa at 65. Respectively placing fifth, sixth, and seventh last season were Liverpool (60 pts), Bournemouth (57 pts), and Sunderland (54 pts). This qualified Bournemouth for their first European competition in club history, while Sunderland will play in Europe for the first time since 1974.

Clubs With the Most English Football Titles

No club has had more success in the EPL than Manchester United, which has won 13 Premier League titles since 1992. The Red Devils have won 20 League titles overall, to go along with 13 FA Cups, and 6 League Cups since their formation in 1878.

As of last season, Arsenal now boasts 14 total all-time top division titles, but just 4 Premier League titles. They sit behind the 20 titles won by Man United and Liverpool, but ahead of Manchester City (10) and Everton (9).
