Bosnia vs Finland Prediction

The Bosnians host Finland in a huge clash. Bosnia currently trails Ukraine by two points for the runner-up spot in Group D, while the visitors are only one point behind. That being said, the outcome of this game will be huge for both sides as they desperately try to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

Ivaylo Petev’s men are just 1-4-1 in qualifying and that lone victory came on the road. They’ve yet to collect three points on home soil, losing to France and playing to a 2-2 draw with Kazakhstan. In their most recent fixture, Bosnia took away a lone point in a 1-1 result with the Ukrainians.

Finland is coming off a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan in October as well thanks to a brace from Norwich City star Teemu Pukki. The striker has bagged six goals in as many appearances in qualifying and will surely be a key figure in the final third on Saturday.

Markku Kanerva’s side is 2-2-2 thus far but has lost two of their last three. This is definitely a vital encounter for them because the Finns face France on Matchday 10, which is certainly going to be a tall task.

The last time these two countries locked horns, it ended in a 2-2 draw. A lot is on the line but I do believe the points will be shared again.

Pick: Draw +245

Norway vs Latvia Prediction

The Norwegians are in a terrific position right now, sitting two points behind Group G leaders, the Netherlands. But, Turkey is right on their heels. Stale Solbakken’s men are without a huge piece however in Erling Haaland, who is out due to injury. The Dortmund star already has five goals to his name in six appearances.

Norway has tasted defeat just once in qualifying while winning five games. Their last meeting with Latvia was smooth sailing as well, securing a 2-0 victory on the road. Another positive result is crucial because Turkey’s last couple of fixtures are against weak sides in Gibraltar and Montenegro.

The Latvians are far out of the picture, going just 1-2-5. They haven’t exactly been blown out of the water by anyone, but at this point, it’s all about playing spoiler on Saturday. Last time out in early October, Latvia put together a gritty performance in a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat to Turkey.

The Norway moneyline doesn’t offer much value, therefore a specific bet is the most logical decision. Latvia hasn’t lost by more than two goals in qualifying and that trend will continue.

Pick: Norway to Win by 2 (+235)

Wales vs Belarus Prediction

After Spain’s win over Greece, Gareth Bale and Wales officially have a spot in the qualifying play-offs in March. The Welsh have a game in hand over the Czech Republic, who they currently sit level with on 11 points in Group E.

Rob Page’s side is currently in solid form as well, going unbeaten in five games across all competitions. Last time out, Wales beat Estonia by a single goal. They barely took out Belarus in their previous encounter though, winning a 3-2 nailbiter. Finishing in second spot in this group would ensure them a berth as a seeded country rather than an unseeded Nations League team in the next round of qualifiers.

Belarus is in the midst of a miserable campaign, sitting dead last with a mere three points to show for. The squad has managed to score just six goals while conceding 19 times. This is their last match of qualifying and an opportunity to finish on a high note.

Wales hasn’t been that convincing, which is why I believe it’s going to be a close fixture on Saturday. One moment of brilliance will be the difference-maker.

Pick: Wales to Win by 1 (+240)
