It’s been a dreadful start to the Premier League season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, currently sitting in 10th place with a 4-1-3 record. They’ve conceded 14 goals in nine appearances in England while scoring 13. However, they enter this Champions League fixture fresh off a 1-0 victory over West Brom, while also beating a solid Everton team just before the international break.
After winning two straight matches, although the latter wasn’t a great performance, the Red Devils will be feeling confident prior to Tuesday’s meeting with Istanbul, especially considering it will be on home soil. But, the visitors have lost two straight, while United look to be possibly turning a corner, having won back to back fixtures.
