When Les Verts took a 15th-minute lead through Zaydou Youssouf, the scene was set for them to take the game by the scruff of the neck and take it away from Auxerre, but the second goal never came and, instead, it was Les diplomates who found the all-important next goal.

Biggest Challenge for Les Diplomates

The stats point to a disappointing season for Saint-Etienne from virtually every metric, but they did pick up more points in the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard than they did away from home.
