Marie Bouzkova vs Coco Gauff Prediction
- Pick: Bouzkova +5.5 (+100)
It’s been a breeze so far for the 21-year-old American, breezing through the first two rounds in straight sets. She’s done just fine on clay, with back-to-back finals appearances in Rome and Madrid, but coming up short of the title.
Gauff is a heavy favorite in Round 3 against Czechia’s Marie Bouzkova, though she’s yet to beat her in her career.
Bouzkova vs Gauff H2H Results
They haven’t met since 2023, though, when Gauff was still a teenager losing on clay in three sets.
Bouzkova hasn’t lost a set yet at Roland Garros, knocking off 30th seed Anna Kalinskaya to kick off her French Open.
While this has upset vibes, it’s hard to lean into those +500 odds when Bouzkova has gotten out of the third round just once in her season. We’ll stick to this one being close, though.
Madison Keys vs Sofia Kenin Prediction
- Pick: Over 20.5 games (-120)
Let’s take a stab at a match that could be far closer than the stats indicate.
A dynamite start to the year for Madison Keys has been dimmed somewhat by the clay season. After winning in Adelaide and following it up with her first career Grand Slam at the Aussie Open, she was bounced in Rome in Round 3.
The week prior, she was dumped by Iga Swiatek in a 3-setter in the quarterfinals at Madrid.
Russian Sofia Kenin could be a dangerous matchup, though she’s also been knocked out by the 3rd Round at both Rome and Madrid.
That being said, Kenin she does have a finals run from Charleston in April, as well as a 3-1 all-time advantage in head-to-head play, but these two haven’t linked since 2022.
The only 3-setter went to Keys back in 2019, but the two have topped the 20.5 game line in every match, and we’ll pick it again for Saturday.
Daria Kasatkina vs Paula Badosa
- Pick: Under 21.5 games (-120)
This match could provide a springboard to what’s been lackluster first part of the season for both players.
Badosa’s best finish on the year was a semifinal run at the Aussie Open, but that’s the outlier, as the Spaniard has gotten past the 3rd Round just one other time.
It’s been a struggle at Roland Garros too, needing to go the distance in both matches already, notably knocking off Naomi Osaka in Round 1.
There have been very few bright spots for Kasatkina, who is just 11-12 in singles play on the year.
However, this is a winnable one to get to the 4th Round, which she reached at the Aussie Open too. These two have split six career matches, with a win each on clay, but they haven’t met since October of 2024.
Their matches trend to the blowout side, with only one career match going the distance – the only one that went over 21.5 games.
Mirra Andreeva vs Yulia Putintseva Prediction
- Pick: Andreeva -5-5 (-130)
Russian Mirra Andreeva has had a great run to the year, with back-to-back wins at Dubai — with notable wins over Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina — and Indian Wells, knocking off no. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka, no. 2 Swiatek and no. 7 Rybakina en route to that title.
It will be her first career match against Kazakhstan’s Yulia Putintseva. Other than a semifinal loss to Jessica Pegula at Adelaide, the 30-year-old has been out of 3rd Round just one other time, in a small tournament at Parma.
Andreeva’s clay season has been decent. After an upset loss in Round 2 at Stuttgart, she’s hit the quarterfinals in both Madrid and Rome, only to be bounced by Coco Gauff.
I think she makes quick work of Putintseva Saturday.
