USC (-17, 51 o/u) at Boston College
Assuming for a second that the USC Athletic Director Pat Haden won’t be on the field this weekend causing controversy, his team could be in for a big win in Bean Town. Especially now that Trojans Head Coach Steve Sarkisian has his squad feeling momentum after last Saturday’s victory over Stanford.
Talking about the Stanford game, Sarkisian said, “I think it says a lot that we can come in against this team, in this environment, and the game not really going our way and not really in our favor, just for whatever reason, and find a way to win.”
USC will be without Hayes Pullard for the first half. The star linebacker has to sit due to being ejected in the Stanford game. While this on papers seems to favor Boston College, Head Coach Steve Addazio isn’t buying it.
Addazio said, “Just understand that he’s surrounded by great players on that defense. Maybe one of the best interior defensive lines and I’ve seen my share of great ones. But collectively, they’re really good.”
If Boston College, which lost last week to Pitt, is to have a chance in this game, it’ll need Florida transfer quarterback Tyler Murphy to have the game of his life.
Look for USC to have its way with the Eagles, easily covering the two-touchdown-and-a-field-goal spread.
