LV Aces vs LA Sparks Odds
The Aces/Sparks point spread ranges from Las Vegas -1.5 to -2.5 (with the majority of books at LV -2.0). Aces backers can get Las Vegas at -1.5 (-114) at FanDuel, while Sparks bettors can get Los Angeles +2.5 (-118) at BetMGM. On the moneyline, all books currently have the Sparks at +110 to win straight-up. The best price on Las Vegas is -130 at bet365, Caesars, and DraftKings. The total also shows a one-point discrepancy across books; over bettors should target O 174.5 (-110) at either BetMGM or Caesars. Under bettors should take U 175.5 (-108) at FanDuel.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the Aces and Sparks. They have already split a pair of meeting in Vegas, with the Aces winning 96-81 on May 30th and the Sparks answering back with a 97-89 road win on June 11th.
Reigning MVP A’ja Wilson dominated the first matchup, scoring 34 points with 13 rebounds, and six assists. But the Sparks held Wilson in check in the second, limiting her to just 13 points on 2-of-12 shooting. Sophomore Rickea Jackson (13.6 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 2.1 APG) had a career-high 30 points in the win, making up for a quiet 13-point night from leading scorer Kelsey Plum (20.1 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 5.9 APG).
Los Angeles enters play on Tuesday as the hottest team in the league; the Sparks have won five straight (no other team has won more than two in a row, currently) to climb back into playoff contention. That streak includes just their second and third wins of the season at crypto.com Arena: a 92-88 victory over league-worst Connecticut on July 13th and a 99-80 rout of Washington two days later.
The Sparks’ most-recent win was by far their best of the season, a 101-99 upset of the reigning-champion Liberty in New York as 11-point underdogs. Jackson once again led the way with 24 points while Plum added 20 and eight dimes, and forwards Dearica Hamby (17.6 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.5 APG) and Azura Stevens (14.9 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 3.5 APG) both added 17-point double-doubles.
The Aces are coming off a 106-80 rout of shorthanded Dallas (which was missing first-overall pick Paige Bueckers), which improved their road record to a still-disappointing 6-9 on the year. Even with that SU and ATS victory, Las Vegas still owns the worst ATS record in the league at 10-16.

Wilson, who’s been held to 20 points or fewer in four of the last five, has the highest point total by a wide margin, sitting at 22.5 O/U, five more than Kelsey Plum (17.5 O/U).
Wilson also has the highest rebound total at 9.5, one more than both Hamby and Stevens. Plum has the highest assist total at 5.5, a number she’s exceeded in three straight.
Las Vegas Aces vs Los Angeles Sparks Picks
The Aces are still, to some extent, being priced like the title contender they were seen to in May. Las Vegas has faded from +321 to +2225, on average, in the WNBA championship odds since the start of the season and have been bad on the road more often than not. Yet they’re still laying points against a much-improved and red-hot Sparks team, which presents a great opportunity for bettors to jump on the home underdog.
The Sparks have a massive and physical frontcourt with the 6’6 Stevens and 6’3 Hamby, which is crucial in containing Wilson and forcing the ball into the hands of her subpar supporting cast.
In addition to the Los Angeles moneyline, I’m also betting on Plum to go over 5.5 assists for the fourth straight game. She’s averaged 6.0 APG in the first two meetings against the Aces this season, and Las Vegas is sitting fifth-last in the 13-team league points allowed at 82.6 PPG, a sizable increase from last season (80.9 PPG).
