Minnesota Lynx vs Dallas Wings Picks
- Lynx vs Wings pick: Over 163.5 points (-112)
It’s a season of unfinished business for the Minnesota Lynx, who advanced all the way to the WNBA Finals, only to fall short of the crown at the hands of the New York Liberty.
There’s a lot to like about this group, highlighted by the solid play of Napheesa Collier, who put up 20.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists for Minnesota a season ago.
She helped lead the Lynx to a 30-10 regular season record, second in wins to only the Liberty.
Minnesota is hoping to carry its well-rounded play of last year into 2025 — as they were one of just two teams to rank inside the Top 4 in both offensive and defensive rating.
After a brutal 2024 campaign, winning just nine of 40 games on the year, there’s optimism in Dallas, as the Wings have reloaded, and landed the top prize in the WNBA Draft, selecting UConn star Paige Bueckers.
She’s fresh off claiming a national championship as the lead guard for the Huskies, where she avearged 24.8 points on 52.8% shooting from the field and a blistering 48.3% from 3-point range.
Bueckers now teams up with veteran guard Arike Ogunbowale, who led Dallas in scoring a year ago at 22.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
There’s plenty of star power in this matchup, but no team has been able to build an upper hand, with the teams splitting each of the last 10 head-to-heads.
Minnesota and Dallas were in the top half of scoring a season ago, with Dallas in fourth, putting up 84.2 points per game, followed closely by the Lynx’s 82 points per contest.
The Over has gone 7-1-1 over the last nine meetings. The only Under was their most recent matchup on August 30, but the teams combined for 170 points.
With Buecker joining the fray, expect the points to continue pouring in between these clubs.

Let’s focus on Collier, who finished third in the WNBA in rebounding a year ago at 9.7 per contest. Only A’ja Wilson and Angel Reese were more prolific in rebounding last season.
Collier worked the glass well in four meetings with Dallas last season, going for at least 10 rebounds in three of the four games.
Dallas struggled with its defensive rebounding last year, ranking dead last in the category at 24.3 per contest. If the Wings can’t improve that number, look for Collier to dominate inside.
She led the charge of a team that ranked second in offensive rebounding.
- Lynx vs Wings player prop bet: Collier Over 9.5 rebounds (-120)
