AFC East Odds

  • [December 21] The Patriots clinched the AFC East with a win over the Bills in Week 16
  • [December 16] The Patriots’ have improved back to -2667; New England would have to lose their last two games (vs Buffalo and vs Miami) to lose the AFC East
  • [December 9] Despite losing a second straight game, the Patriots are still -1200 to win the East. They remain a game up on Buffalo with a home-date against the Bills still to come
  • [December 2] After a loss to the Texans in Week 13, the Patriots only hold a one-game lead over the Bills in the AFC East; New England’s divisional odds have faded to -4000

  • [November 18] The Jets are now tied with the Dolphins for the worst odds to win the division

AFC North Odds

  • [December 16] The Baltimore Ravens clinched the AFC North with a win over the Jets in Week 15
  • [December 9] It’s not mathematically over, but it’s realistically over. Baltimore is now -57500 to win the North. The Steelers are +4000. Baltimore would have to lose out and Pittsburgh would have to win out for the Steelers to claim the division
  • [December 2] Despite beating the Browns in Week 13, the Steelers saw their AFC North odds fade from +1533 to +2250
  • [November 26] Thanks to another dominant Ravens victory in Week 13, both the Browns and Steelers saw their AFC North odds take big hits in spite of recording wins of their own
  • [November 18] The Steelers still possess the second-best odds to win the AFC North, even after losing to the Browns in Week 11
  • [November 11] Despite both recording victories in Week 10, the Browns and Steelers saw their AFC North odds worsen thanks to another dominant performance from the Ravens
  • [November 4] A loss in Denver sees Cleveland’s record fall to 2-6 and their odds to win the AFC North from +675 to +2250
  • [October 29] For the first time since the conclusion of Week 1, the Browns are not among the top two contenders to win the AFC North
  • [October 21] Baltimore’s odds to win the AFC North have reached a season-best -367 (on average) after coming out of Seattle with a win

AFC South Odds

  • [December 21] The Texans have clinched the AFC South with a win over the Bucs in Week 16
  • [December 17] After beating the Titans in Week 15, the Texans only need to win one of their final two games – one of which is against Tennessee in Week 17 – to clinch the division title
  • [December 9] The best race in the league is in the South. Houston is down to -155 while Tennessee improved to +135 thanks to a fourth straight win
  • [December 2] The Titans’ three-game winning streak has seen their AFC South odds improve from +1100 to +275, the second-best odds in the division
  • [November 25] The Texans’ AFC South odds improved to -183 after beating the Colts in Week 12
  • [November 18] Even after getting crushed by the Ravens in Week 11, the Texans still maintain the best odds to win the AFC South
  • [November 11] Even after losing to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, Indianapolis’ divisional odds didn’t get much worse, fading from +193 to +278
  • [November 4] The Texans are back to being the favorites to win the division after the Colts fell to the Steelers in Week 9
  • [October 28] Despite beating the Raiders in Week 8, the Texans saw their odds to win the AFC South worsen from +143 to +153, likely due to another Indianapolis win and the loss of JJ Watt for the season
  • [October 21] After beating the Texans in Week 7, the Colts are listed as slight favorites to win the AFC South
  • [October 14] The Texans are listed as odds-on favorites to win the AFC South for the first time this season after beating the Chiefs in KC
  • [October 7] Beating the Chiefs on SNF in Week 5 has resulted in Indianapolis’ AFC South odds shortening from +252 to +175
  • [September 30] With the Texans and Colts both getting upset in Week 4, the Jaguars and Titans, who were both on the opposite side of upsets, saw their odds improve significantly
  • [September 23] The Texans have reached even odds to win the AFC South, but the Colts are looming
  • [September 10] The Titans average odds have improved  to +191 following their impressive win in Cleveland over the Browns, but the Texans remain favorites to win the AFC South
  • [August 26] Following the stunning retirement of Andrew Luck, the Colts average odds have plummeted from first to worst, at +407
  • [July 18] For the first time this year, the Colts are odds-on favorites to win the AFC South

  • [November 25] With both the Cowboys and Eagles losing in Week 12, Dallas saw their odds to win the division improve slightly
  • [November 18] The Cowboys are back to being favored to win the division after the Eagles lost a close one to the Patriots in Week 11
  • [November 11] With the Cowboys losing to the Vikings in Week 10, the Eagles are favored to win the NFC East for the first time since October 14
  • [November 5] With the Eagles recording their second straight win, Dallas’ NFC East odds worsened a bit in spite of their Week 9 victory
  • [October 28] A win in Buffalo has resulted in the Eagles’ odds shortening from +127 to +107; Dallas remains the favorite
  • [October 21] The Cowboys are back to being the favorites in the NFC East after dismantling the Eagles on Sunday Night Football of Week 7
  • [October 7] Back-to-back losses for the Cowboys – paired with back-to-back wins for the Eagles – sees Philadelphia become the odds-on favorite to win the NFC East
  • [September 24] A 3-0 start paired with the Eagles struggling out of the gate has resulted in Dallas’ NFC East odds reaching -200
  • [September 16] With an Eagles loss on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys are now the favorites to win the NFC East
  • [April 11] Philadelphia has become the odds-on favorite to win the division

  • [December 24] With a win over the Vikings in Week 16, the Packers have clinched the NFC North
  • [December 16] The Packers saw their NFC North odds improve to -475 after beating the Bears in Week 15; they would have to lose their final two games (@MIN and @DET) to give up the division
  • [December 9] The Packers lead the Vikings by just one game, but Green Bay is a massive -317 favorite to hold on, even though they have to visit Minnesota in Week 16
  • [December 3] The Vikings NFC North odds went from +108 to +200 after losing to the Seahawks in Week 13, falling a full game back of Green Bay in the standings
  • [November 25] The Packers remain the odds-on favorites to win the NFC North despite being tied with the Vikings for the division lead
  • [November 18] The gap between the Packers and Vikings tightened after Green Bay was off on bye and Minnesota avoided being upset by the Broncos in Week 11
  • [November 11] Green Bay and Minnesota each saw their NFC North odds improve a little with wins in Week 10
  • [November 4] With each team in the NFC North losing in Week 9, the only real movement was Chicago’s odds fading to +4750

  • [September 9] Green Bay is now the favorite after their win in Chicago, with average odds of +161
  • [May 1] The Bears and Vikings’ odds are moving in opposite directions: CHI went from +200 to +183 to win the NFC North, while MIN went from +200 to +216

  • [October 8] The Rams remain the favorites to win the NFC West even after back-to-back losses and the 4-0 Niners atop the standings
