AFC East Odds

• [December 21] The Patriots clinched the AFC East with a win over the Bills in Week 16
• [December 16] The Patriots’ have improved back to -2667; New England would have to lose their last two games (vs Buffalo and vs Miami) to lose the AFC East
• [December 9] Despite losing a second straight game, the Patriots are still -1200 to win the East. They remain a game up on Buffalo with a home-date against the Bills still to come
• [December 2] After a loss to the Texans in Week 13, the Patriots only hold a one-game lead over the Bills in the AFC East; New England’s divisional odds have faded to -4000
• [November 25] The Patriots’ odds to win the AFC East have reached a new best at -8333
• [November 18] The Jets are now tied with the Dolphins for the worst odds to win the division
• [November 11] The Bills saw their odds tank after losing to the Browns in Week 10
• [November 4] Despite only carrying a 1.5-game lead over the Bills after suffering their first loss of 2019, the Patriots are still extremely favored to win the AFC East
• [October 29] The Bills’ AFC East odds faded from an average of +850 to +1500 after a disappointing loss at home to the Eagles
• [October 22] After being demolished by the Patriots on MNF of Week 7, the Jets’ average AFC East odds plummeted from +4500 to +9000
• [September 30] A loss to the Patriots at home in Week 4 has sent the Bills’ AFC East odds from +650 to +967
• [September 23] The Bills appear to be the only team with any chance of contesting the Patriots for the division, as their average odds have shortened to +650
• [September 9] Following their blowout win over Pittsburgh and the addition of Antonio Brown, the Patriots are now an average favorite of -1275 to win the division
• [April 2] No surprise here, the Patriots have opened as heavy -500 favorites to win the AFC East

AFC North Odds

• [December 16] The Baltimore Ravens clinched the AFC North with a win over the Jets in Week 15
• [December 9] It’s not mathematically over, but it’s realistically over. Baltimore is now -57500 to win the North. The Steelers are +4000. Baltimore would have to lose out and Pittsburgh would have to win out for the Steelers to claim the division
• [December 2] Despite beating the Browns in Week 13, the Steelers saw their AFC North odds fade from +1533 to +2250
• [November 26] Thanks to another dominant Ravens victory in Week 13, both the Browns and Steelers saw their AFC North odds take big hits in spite of recording wins of their own
• [November 18] The Steelers still possess the second-best odds to win the AFC North, even after losing to the Browns in Week 11
• [November 11] Despite both recording victories in Week 10, the Browns and Steelers saw their AFC North odds worsen thanks to another dominant performance from the Ravens
• [November 4] A loss in Denver sees Cleveland’s record fall to 2-6 and their odds to win the AFC North from +675 to +2250
• [October 29] For the first time since the conclusion of Week 1, the Browns are not among the top two contenders to win the AFC North
• [October 21] Baltimore’s odds to win the AFC North have reached a season-best -367 (on average) after coming out of Seattle with a win
• [October 14] A 2-4 start to the season has seen the Browns’ AFC North odds fade to a season-worst +357
• [October 1] The Ravens are still seen as odds-on favorites to win the AFC North after losing to the Browns in Week 4
• [September 23] Despite losing to the Chiefs in Week 3, the Ravens saw their average AFC North odds improve thanks to losses by all other teams in the division
• [September 17] The Ravens entered Week 1 with +319 average odds to win the AFC North; they’re now the odds-on favorites at -122
• [July 18] The Browns’ odds to win the AFC North are now the best they’ve seen all year, reaching +120
• [April 2] After some big splashes in free agency, the Cleveland Browns opened as +125 favorites to win the AFC North

AFC South Odds

• [December 21] The Texans have clinched the AFC South with a win over the Bucs in Week 16
• [December 17] After beating the Titans in Week 15, the Texans only need to win one of their final two games – one of which is against Tennessee in Week 17 – to clinch the division title
• [December 9] The best race in the league is in the South. Houston is down to -155 while Tennessee improved to +135 thanks to a fourth straight win
• [December 2] The Titans’ three-game winning streak has seen their AFC South odds improve from +1100 to +275, the second-best odds in the division
• [November 25] The Texans’ AFC South odds improved to -183 after beating the Colts in Week 12
• [November 18] Even after getting crushed by the Ravens in Week 11, the Texans still maintain the best odds to win the AFC South
• [November 11] Even after losing to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, Indianapolis’ divisional odds didn’t get much worse, fading from +193 to +278
• [November 4] The Texans are back to being the favorites to win the division after the Colts fell to the Steelers in Week 9
• [October 28] Despite beating the Raiders in Week 8, the Texans saw their odds to win the AFC South worsen from +143 to +153, likely due to another Indianapolis win and the loss of JJ Watt for the season
• [October 21] After beating the Texans in Week 7, the Colts are listed as slight favorites to win the AFC South
• [October 14] The Texans are listed as odds-on favorites to win the AFC South for the first time this season after beating the Chiefs in KC
• [October 7] Beating the Chiefs on SNF in Week 5 has resulted in Indianapolis’ AFC South odds shortening from +252 to +175
• [September 30] With the Texans and Colts both getting upset in Week 4, the Jaguars and Titans, who were both on the opposite side of upsets, saw their odds improve significantly
• [September 23] The Texans have reached even odds to win the AFC South, but the Colts are looming
• [September 10] The Titans average odds have improved  to +191 following their impressive win in Cleveland over the Browns, but the Texans remain favorites to win the AFC South
• [August 26] Following the stunning retirement of Andrew Luck, the Colts average odds have plummeted from first to worst, at +407
• [July 18] For the first time this year, the Colts are odds-on favorites to win the AFC South
• [April 2] The Indianapolis Colts opened as the favorites to win the AFC South

AFC West Odds

• [December 9] This race is officially over. The Chiefs have wrapped up a fourth straight AFC West title
• [December 2] After the Chiefs stomped the Raiders in Week 13, KC saw their odds improve from +567 to -3000
• [November 25] The Raiders divisional odds faded to +400 after a bad loss to the Jets in Week 12
• [November 19] The Raiders odds to win the AFC West have reached a season-best +330
• [November 11] The Raiders are only a half-game back of the AFC West lead, but their odds are still at an average of +413
• [November 4] Despite wins from both the Chargers and Raiders in Week 9, both saw their odds to win the AFC West get longer thanks to the Chiefs beating the Vikings
• [October 28] For the first time since October 7, the LA Chargers have the second-best odds to win the AFC West
• [October 21] Thanks to a lack of competition in the division, the Chiefs’ odds to win the AFC West actually got better after Patrick Mahomes got injured
• [October 14] The Raiders are now given the second-best odds to win the AFC West after the Chargers put forth another discouraging performance in Week 6
• [October 7] With both the Chiefs and Chargers losing in Week 5, the Raiders odds to win the AFC West went from +2067 to +650 after beating the Bears
• [September 23] After back-to-back losses by the Chargers, the gap in odds to win the AFC West between the Chargers and Chiefs is the biggest it’s been all year
• [September 16] Kansas City became a heavier favorite to win the AFC West after the Chargers fell to the Lions in Week 2
• [April 2] Online sports betting sites see this division as a two-horse race between the Chiefs and Chargers; KC opened as a -245 favorite

NFC East Odds

• [December 23] The Eagles took the driver seat of the NFC East after beating the Cowboys in Week 16; Philadelphia’s odds are now a season-best -303
• [December 16] A blowout victory over the Rams in Week 15 sees Dallas’ odds improve to -165 ahead of their Week 16 clash with the Eagles; the winner of their meeting will be in the driver’s seat of the NFC East
• [December 10] Despite riding a four-game losing streak, Dallas (-120) is favored slightly over Philadelphia. They have identical 6-7 records, but Philly hosts the final head-to-head meeting
• [December 2] Dallas and Philadelphia both lost again in Week 13, resulting in basically no movement in NFC East odds
• [November 25] With both the Cowboys and Eagles losing in Week 12, Dallas saw their odds to win the division improve slightly
• [November 18] The Cowboys are back to being favored to win the division after the Eagles lost a close one to the Patriots in Week 11
• [November 11] With the Cowboys losing to the Vikings in Week 10, the Eagles are favored to win the NFC East for the first time since October 14
• [November 5] With the Eagles recording their second straight win, Dallas’ NFC East odds worsened a bit in spite of their Week 9 victory
• [October 28] A win in Buffalo has resulted in the Eagles’ odds shortening from +127 to +107; Dallas remains the favorite
• [October 21] The Cowboys are back to being the favorites in the NFC East after dismantling the Eagles on Sunday Night Football of Week 7
• [October 7] Back-to-back losses for the Cowboys – paired with back-to-back wins for the Eagles – sees Philadelphia become the odds-on favorite to win the NFC East
• [September 24] A 3-0 start paired with the Eagles struggling out of the gate has resulted in Dallas’ NFC East odds reaching -200
• [September 16] With an Eagles loss on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys are now the favorites to win the NFC East
• [April 11] Philadelphia has become the odds-on favorite to win the division
• [April 2] The additions of Jordan Howard and DeSean Jackson have resulted in the Eagles opening as the favorites to win the NFC East, sporting EVEN odds

NFC North Odds

• [December 24] With a win over the Vikings in Week 16, the Packers have clinched the NFC North
• [December 16] The Packers saw their NFC North odds improve to -475 after beating the Bears in Week 15; they would have to lose their final two games (@MIN and @DET) to give up the division
• [December 9] The Packers lead the Vikings by just one game, but Green Bay is a massive -317 favorite to hold on, even though they have to visit Minnesota in Week 16
• [December 3] The Vikings NFC North odds went from +108 to +200 after losing to the Seahawks in Week 13, falling a full game back of Green Bay in the standings
• [November 25] The Packers remain the odds-on favorites to win the NFC North despite being tied with the Vikings for the division lead
• [November 18] The gap between the Packers and Vikings tightened after Green Bay was off on bye and Minnesota avoided being upset by the Broncos in Week 11
• [November 11] Green Bay and Minnesota each saw their NFC North odds improve a little with wins in Week 10
• [November 4] With each team in the NFC North losing in Week 9, the only real movement was Chicago’s odds fading to +4750
• [October 28] The Packers odds are the shortest they’ve been all season after coming out of KC with a win; the Bears have the worst odds to win the division for the first time this season
• [October 21] The Bears, who were the favorites to win the NFC North throughout the preseason, have seen their odds plummet to an average of +867 after a poor showing against the undermanned Saints in Week 7
• [October 15] The Packers have become odds-on favorites to win the NFC North after defeating the Lions on Monday Night Football of Week 6
• [September 9] Green Bay is now the favorite after their win in Chicago, with average odds of +161
• [May 1] The Bears and Vikings’ odds are moving in opposite directions: CHI went from +200 to +183 to win the NFC North, while MIN went from +200 to +216
• [April 2] The Bears opened as +180 favorites to win the NFC North in 2019

NFC South Odds

• [December 2] With their victory over the Falcons on Thanksgiving, the Saints have clinched the AFC South title
• [November 25] The Saints have the NFC South all but locked up, as their odds have improved to an average of -15000, the shortest odds any team has seen this season to win their respective division
• [November 18] The Falcons no longer have the worst odds to win the division, as the Bucs have claimed that honor after dropping to 3-7
• [November 11] After getting upset by the Falcons in Week 10, the Saints saw their NFC South odds worsen for the first time since Drew Brees got injured in Week 2
• [November 4] Another loss has resulted in the Bucs’ odds worsening from +3167 to +5000
• [October 28] The slim chances of Carolina taking the NFC South from the Saints all but disappeared in San Francisco in Week 8, where the Panthers were handed a 51-13 beating by the Niners
• [October 21] Back-to-back wins as road dogs has seen the Saints’ odds to win the NFC South reach a season-best average of -533
• [October 7] The Panthers NFC South odds have reached an average of +350 after their third straight win with Kyle Allen under center
• [September 30] Up until this week, the Falcons had always had the second-best odds to win the NFC South; but a 1-3 start now sees them at the bottom of the division
• [September 16] The Saints are still odds-on favorites to win the NFC South in spite of Drew Brees being out six weeks; the Falcons odds shortened to +200
• [August 26] Carolina continues their move toward contention in the division, seeing their average odds once again improve from +544 to +409
• [April 2] The Saints have opened as the odds-on favorites to win the NFC South in 2019

NFC West Odds

• [December 23] In spite of the Seahawks losing to the Cardinals in Week 16, they would still win the NFC West with a victory over the Niners in Week 17; Seattle’s odds have faded to +160, though
• [December 16] After the Niners were upset by the Falcons in Week 15, the Seahawks have taken the lead in the NFC West; both teams control their own destiny, as a Week 17 showdown appears likely to decide the division-winner
• [December 9] The 49ers reclaimed the division lead and favored status with a huge Week 14 upset of the Saints in New Orleans
• [December 3] For the first time this season, the Seahawks are favored to win the NFC West; but not all books have them listed as the favorite
• [November 26] After getting embarrassed by the Ravens on Monday Night Football, the Rams have fallen out of the NFC West race, as their odds went from +1600 to +5167
• [November 18] In spite of beating the Bears on SNF, the Rams NFC West odds continue to worsen
• [November 12] The odds to win the NFC West didn’t change that much after the Seahawks upset the Niners on MNF of Week 10
• [November 4] With both the Niners and Seahawks winning in Week 9, the Rams’ NFC West odds fell from +383 to +650 while on bye
• [October 28] An uninspiring win in Atlanta paired with another Rams victory has resulted in the Seahawks’ divisional odds fading from +273 to +308
• [October 21] In spite of a Week 7 win, and acquiring Jalen Ramsey from the Jags, the Rams saw their odds to win the NFC West worsen slightly, thanks to the Niners pushing their record to 6-0
• [October 14] A win over the Rams in Week 6 not only pushes the 49ers’ record to 5-0, but also sees them become the favorites to win the NFC West
• [October 8] The Rams remain the favorites to win the NFC West even after back-to-back losses and the 4-0 Niners atop the standings
• [September 30] Despite losing to the Bucs in Week 4, and the 49ers remaining undefeated, the Rams are still odds-on favorites to win the NFC West
• [September 23] The Rams became heavier favorites to win the NFC West after beating the Browns on SNF, while the 3-0 San Francisco 49ers jumped the Seahawks on the odds board
• [May 1] Arizona’s NFC West odds took a hit after the 2019 NFL Draft, moving from an average of 16-1 to 23-1
• [April 2] The Rams have opened as the odds-on favorites to win the NFC West in 2019
