Editor’s note (August 7th):Â Â Many bettors are wondering how make/miss playoff bets are being treated in this coronavirus-altered season. The short answer is that there is no single answer for all sportsbooks. However, most sites appear to be treating the qualification round as the end of the regular season, meaning that the eight teams that advance from the best-of-five qualification series will be deemed to have made the playoffs, along with the top-four seeds in each conference. The teams that lose the play-in series will be deemed to have missed the postseason and futures bets will be graded accordingly.Â

NHL Playoff Odds: Eastern Conference
