  • Sept. 21: Leon Draisaitl has won the 2020 Hart Trophy as a substantial favorite.
  • July. 21: Draisaitl, MacKinnon, and Panarin have been named as finalists for the 2020 Hart Trophy. The charts above will be updated once sportsbooks reopen the odds.
  • Mar. 6: A four-goal, five-point night in an 8-3 rout of Nashville has sent Leon Draisaitl’s MVP odds from +200 to -200.
  • Mar. 2: NHL-scoring leader Leon Draisaitl is now even with his Edmonton teammate  Connor McDavid at +200 thanks to the latter missing a chunk of time due to injury.
  • Feb. 3: MacKinnon (+200) has fallen back a bit, but remains the second-favorite to McDavid (+125), with Pastrnak (+400) rounding out the top-three.
  • Jan. 3: McDavid remains the favorite at some books, but others have MacKinnon on even terms with the Oilers star at +150.

  • Nov. 4, 2019: There’s a tight three-way race for second-favorite between Kucherov (+680), MacKinnon (+750), and Crosby (+830).
  • Nov. 1, 2019: McDavid continues to carry the Oilers (along with linemate Leon Draisaitl) and has shortened to +200.
  • Oct. 11, 2019: A strong start for McDavid (10 points in four games for the unbeaten Oilers) keeps him at the top by a sizable margin.
  • Oct. 1, 2019: The NHL MVP odds are holding steady on the eve of puck drop. McDavid (+350) and Kucherov (+550) are still on top.
  • Sep. 23, 2019: Auston Matthews (+950) and Nathan MacKinnon (+1000) have moved the most since lines first opened, along with Mark Scheifele (+2200).
  • Sep. 16, 2019: Connor McDavid opens as the favorite at +350, considerably shorter than reigning champion Nikita Kucherov at +550.

Leon Draisaitl had 110 points and was the only player to pass the 100-point mark in the 2019-20 NHL season. Draisaitl’s teammate, Connor McDavid, finished second in points with 97. Draisaitl is the first German-born player to win the Hart Trophy.
