  • See the graphs and tables below for all the updated odds on who will miss and make the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Due to a delayed start of the 2020-21 NHL season because of COVID-19, teams will play a regular season of just 56 games. This changes the format of teams getting into the playoffs, along with the NHL Playoff odds.

With a rearranged format, there will be no conferences and four divisions (North, East, West, Central). The top four from each division will make it to the postseason with a total of 16 teams.

The top seed will play the fourth seed and the second seed will play the third seed in their respective divisions. The winners of each series will play in the second round. The four remaining teams from each division will then be re-seeded and play the last two rounds.

The graphs below were generated by averaging the odds from reputable online sports betting sites.
