Notes on the 2023-24 Serie A title odds movement over the course of the season:
- [Apr 23] Inter Milan certainly picked an emphatic moment to win the 2023-24 Serie A title. By defeating rivals AC Milan 2-1 on Monday, the Nerazzurri captured their 20th league title, with five games remaining in the season.
- [Mar 20] Now sitting at -20000 odds to win the title, Inter Milan are a virtual lock to capture their first title since 2021 and twentieth overall.
- [Feb 14] With five consecutive league wins and a seven-point lead on Juventus, Inter Milan (-5000) have a stranglehold on Serie A with fifteen games to go.
- [Dec 28] 17 rounds in and it looks like a tow-horse race between Inter with 44 points (-500) and Juventus with 40 points (+450). Both teams still have just one loss on the year
- [Oct 10] Despite being second in the table, Inter’s odds have shortened from +250 to +130. Current leaders AC Milan have seen their odds shorten from +550 to +225
- [Jul 11] Champions Napoli are +225 to win again in 2023-24, followd by Inter Milan at +250 and Juventus +400. AC Milan rounds out the top four early favorites at +550
Juventus’ dominant run in Serie A has been halted with a different Serie A winner coming out on top on each of the past three season. Juventus won nine times in a row, prior to Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli winning in the past three seasons.
