Week 2 rolls on in the NFL and it’s time to pair up a few teams for this week’s top NFL Week 2 parlays and teasers.
In Week 1 we fell flat. But who could expect the Bengals to turn the ball over five times, miss and an extra point, miss a field goal and not challenge a potentially game-winning touchdown? Oh, and then there are the Cowboys, who put up a whopping three points. Any offense at all, anything, could’ve cashed that teaser. I digress. Last week. 0-2, -2.00 units.
We’ve picked out a few teams to include for your NFL Week 2 parlays and teasers this weekend below.

NFL Week 2 Parlay Picks
Unlike in Week 1, Week 2 features a ton of teams favored by a touchdown or more, several into double-digits, no matter where you look on the card. This gives us a few more options for our Week 2 NFL parlays. But that still doesn’t make it easy to avoid the upsets. Wading through which teams deserve to be heavily favored is still tough. We just saw the likes of Indy, San Fran, Cincinnati, Tennessee and Denver all fail to cover or even win as decent-size favorites last week.
Falcons vs Rams
- Pick: Rams
The Super Bowl champs fell flat on their face in Week 1, getting thumped 31-10 at home to the Buffalo Bills. Meanwhile, Atlanta also found their way into the L column, losing 27-26 at home to New Orleans. The loss will be tough to swallow for head coach Arthur Smith as the Saints scored 17 fourth quarter points to pull off the comeback. The Falcons nearly pulled off the win despite much offense coming from the passing game. Marcus Mariota made just his first start since 2019 and completed 20/33 passes for 215 yards, no TDs and no INTs. Instead, Atlanta relied on the ground game and rushed for 201 yards. That may not be enough against the Rams favored by 10 points at home, who ranked sixth in rushing yards allowed last season.

Bengals vs Cowboys
- Pick: Bengals
I had the Cowboys in a teaser in this column last week and oh boy, was it a tough watch. They stayed just close enough to sort of keep the back-door teaser cover alive, but produced nothing on offense, eventually losing 19-3 at home to the Bucs. The defense kept them in the game, but Dallas’ lack of deep threats left Dak Prescott devoid of options to stretch out the Bucs’ defense and give the Cowboys any chance. And now … Prescott is gone. Out with thumb surgery for 4-6 weeks. His backup is Cooper Rush, he of just one career start in four years entering this season and a career total of 488 passing yards.
He’ll be up against Super Bowl finalist Joe Burrow who reportedly sat in silence post-game last week, reflecting on his awful performance against the Steelers. The Bengals’ offense can be every bit as dangerous as the Bucs’ and surely won’t misfire as many times as it did in Week 1.

Titans vs Bills
- Pick: Bills
The Titans were leading 13-0 last week against the Giants and then collapsed to lose 21-20. They let Saquon Barkley run all over them for a Week 1 high of 164 yards.
Meanwhile, the Bills enter this one rested having not played since their opening night thrashing of Super Bowl Champions the LA Rams 31-10.
Ten points may be disrespectful to a team that made the AFC Divisional Playoffs last year. But I don’t think they have the offense to go blow for blow with the Bills. Derrick Henry did run for 82 yards in Week 1, but without AJ Brown, no receiver caught more than 66 yards last week. The Bills are Super Bowl favorites for a reason and will outlast the Titans,

NFL Week 2 Teaser Picks
There are all kinds of NFL teaser opportunities this week, with massive favorites that you can tease down. But since we’ve tackled most of those in the parlay earlier, we’ll look elsewhere for this week’s NFL teaser.
Dolphins vs Ravens
- Pick: Dolphins (+10.5)
Two 1-0 teams meet here with the Ravens as 3.5-point favorites in the NFL odds. I don’t mind taking the Fins to cover that alone. But give me some extra points and I like it even more.
A 24-9 Ravens win looks impressive, but it was just 10-3 at the half. How good are the Ravens? It’s hard to know. We think they are good. But they were only 8-9 last season both SU and ATS. Lamar Jackson really has no star wide receivers to throw to and the defense is not great against quick teams. Oh, and starting CB Kyle Fuller is out.
The Fins have speed at receiver in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and the two combined for 177 yards and a touchdown in their Week 1 win 20-7 win over the Patriots. Miami was also 9-7-1 ATS last season.
It took the Ravens some time to get rolling versus the Jets, but they were given plenty of time as the Jets’ Joe Flacco-led offense couldn’t score. The Dolphins will be a different story and will cause the Ravens’ defense more trouble. Miami could win outright. They certainly could cover and they definitely look great in a teaser.

Commanders vs Lions
- Pick: Lions (+6)
The Detroit Lions haven’t been favored in an NFL game since Week 10 of 2020. But they are this week. Albeit by the smallest of margins. The Lions opened as 2.5-point favorites and that has since been bet down to 1. What do we know about the Lions? Well, for one, they don’t win often. They were 3-13-1 last season and started this year in the L column as well with a 38-35 loss at home to the Eagles. What else do we know about the Lions? They cover for bettors. And in this world, that’s all that matters. They were 11-6 ATS last season under Dan Campbell and despite last week’s loss, their late comeback was enough to cover the spread and start 1-0 ATS in 2022.
Washington was 7-10 last season and 7-9-1 ATS. They started this season with a 28-22 home win over the Jags with a late fourth-quarter comeback.
Ok, let’s get to the teaser. Will the Lions win as a rare ATS favorite? I’m not sure. I think they could. But what I’m more confident in is the Commanders not winning by margin. And I know, I know, you are not supposed to mathematically tease throw the zero, But check out one of the many NFL betting sites such such Barstool Sportsbook you can pick from a bevy of teaser options starting at six points. If you choose a seven-point teaser option you can grab the Lions at +6, which could cover you in everything but a Washington blowout. You’ll also get Miami at +10.5, also giving you all kinds of room barring a Dolphins’ implosion.
- NFL Week 2 Teaser (7 points): Dolphins +10.5 / Lions +6 (-120); risk 1 unit
