It’s here, the first weekend of the NFL 2022-23 season. You’ve crunched the Week 1 odds, made your NFL Week 1 ATS picks and even picked out a few big underdogs who could boost your bankroll in Week 1. But there are many ways to bet on the NFL, including pairing together a few selections for NFL parlays and teasers.

We’ve picked out a few teams to include for your NFL Week 1 parlays and teasers this weekend below.

NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks

We have a ton of mid-level favorites on the board for NFL Week 1 which makes picking out obvious NFL parlay pieces a little more difficult with nobody listed as more than a 7-point favorite this week. Nonetheless here are two teams that we think should get the job done in the AFC North for our NFL Week 1 parlay

Steelers vs Bengals

  • Pick: Bengals

Pittsburgh may have owned this AFC North rivalry in recent years, but the balance of power is or has shifted. The Bengals won the division last year on their way to going to the Super Bowl, with the Steelers finishing second in the division. Cincy won both regular season meetings, 24-10 in Pittsburgh and 41-10 at home. They’ve now won each of the past three between the teams.

Ben Roethlisberger retired in the offseason and the Steelers will now turn to Mitch Trubisky. There is simply no scenario where I’m backing Trubisky who started zero games last year and only nine the season before on the road against Joe Burrow in my Steelers vs Bengals picks.

Ravens vs Jets

  • Pick: Ravens

I took the Ravens at -6.5 as one of my best NFL ATS picks this week. So, naturally, if I think they can win by a touchdown or more, backing them to simply win the game also seems like an NFL parlay pick I should make. The Jets were poor against the run last year, ranking 29th. The run game is a strength of Baltimore and especially that of Lamar Jackson wh orushed for 767 yards last season. Jackson has chosen to represent himself rather than using an agent and he’s failed to reach an agreement on a new contract before the start of Week 1. He’s banking on himself this year to hopefully land the contract he wants. He’ll be motivated to start this year strong.

The Jets were 4-13 last year and now they’ll be trotting out an ex-Ravens’ QB in Joe Flacco who made just one start last year as Zach Wilson is out injured.

  • NFL Week 1 Parlay: Bengals and Ravens to win (-125); 1 unit

NFL Week 1 Teaser Odds

Matchup Pick (Odds)
Green Bay vs Minnesota Vikings +1.5 (Teaser +7.5)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys Cowboys +2.5 (Teaser +8.5)
TOTAL ODDS -136

NFL Week 1 Teaser Picks

As I look down the NFL Week 1 card, a few games jump off the page at me when it comes to NFL Week 1 teaser plays including these two I will include in a 6-point teaser.

Packers vs Vikings

  • Pick: Vikings +7.5

First up, the Packers vs Vikings with Minnesota listed as 1.5-point home underdogs. Last year Minnesota won 34-31 in Minnesota and Green Bay won 37-10 at Lambeau. Green Bay was a perfect 8-0 at home last season but just 5-4 on the road. At home, the Vikings were 5-3.

The Packers enter the 2022-23 season with question marks. None bigger than who will replace the yards and offense that Davante Adams took with him to Vegas. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is also gone and Allen Lazard is injured. Needless to say, the Packers offense has some concerns entering Week 1.

Minnesota is only 1-2 in their past three at home to the Packers, but on opening day, at home, they should be ready to go against this division foe. They could win outright, with an offense loaded with talent. But adding six points makes them oh so much more appealing.

Buccaneers vs Cowboys

  • Pick: Cowboys +8.5

Over to Sunday Night Football where the Cowboys are listed as 2.5-point home dogs to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. This Sunday Night Football matchup could be a thriller if last year’s game is anything to go off of. The Bucs won 31-29 at home, Brady threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns, while Dak Prescott threw for 403 yards and three TDs himself.

Now the venue switches to Big D where Dallas was 5-3 last season. No one would be surprised if Brady took the Bucs to another Super Bowl, but he is 45 years old now. He retired this off-season. Then unretired. Then took time away from camp. His favorite target Rob Gronkowski retired. So too did Pro Bowl guard Ali Marpet. Center Ryan Jensen also suffered a serious off-season knee injury. Meanwhile, head coach Bruce Arians moved up to the front office. All this is to say the Bucs may not be in top form come Week 1 and the Cowboys could be a live Week 1 underdog.

  • NFL Week 1 Teaser (6 points): Vikings +7.5 / Cowboys +8.5 (-136 odds); 1 unit
