Timeline of Updates:

  • Mar. 25: North Carolina (-390) has the best odds entering the Elite Eight as it draws this year’s Cinderella, Saint Peter’s (+293).
  • Mar. 24: Duke (-179) and Houston (-135) will head into the Elite Eight as favorites against Arkansas (+150) and Villanova (+114), respectively. But Kansas (-195) still has the best odds to reach the Final Four despite still needing to win two games.
  • Mar. 20: Kansas now has the best odds (-185) thanks to a (relatively) easy path that includes #4 Providence and then either #10 Miami or #11 Iowa State.
  • Mar. 18: No huge shakeups on Friday, but Texas moved up nicely (from +1200 to +625) after being ACC Tournament-champ Virginia Tech in the first round.
  • Mar. 17: The biggest benefactor of Saint Peter’s upset of Kentucky appears to be Murray State. The Racers’, who face Saint Peter’s in the second round, saw their Final Four odds improve from +4500 to +750.
  • Mar. 16: Notre Dame edged Rutgers in a 2OT thrilling, leading the Irish’s Final Four odds to improve from +14000 to +8000.
  • Mar. 15: Indiana’s odds to reach the Final Four improved from +4750 to +2850 with its First Four win over Wyoming.
  • Mar. 13: Gonzaga (-150) has improved after Selection Sunday, perceived to have a relatively weak West Region to navigate.
  • Mar. 8: Purdue is fading badly. A +220 top-five favorite last week, they have dropped to +350, just eighth-best in the country.
  • Feb. 28: The three favorites – Gonzaga (-118), Kentucky (+168), and Arizona (+173) – all shortened a little, while the likes of Purdue (+220), Auburn (+230), and Baylor (+325) faded. Lower down, Saint Mary’s improved from +3600 to +1800 after knocking off Gonzaga.
  • Feb. 23: Gonzaga continues to be an odds-on favorite (-108) to reach New Orleans. Surging Kentucky (+183) and Arizona (+190) round out the top three.
