Milwaukee Panthers Pushing Pace on Offense

They may not be the most offensively efficient squad in the country, but the Panthers sure do push the pace in all their games. With an adjusted tempo of 71.8, they rank 16th overall nationally in that category.

All those extra possessions lead to an increase in buckets and Milwaukee has hit the over in each of their last four games. Although their field goal percentage might not be outstanding, they rank 41st in the nation in points per game, putting up 78.2 per contest.

The Panthers head into play Thursday at 9-3 in league play to mark their best opening to a conference slate in over a decade. Much thanks for their stellar play has to go to sophomore, BJ Freeman. An overhauled roster has not led to more wins this season for the IUPUI Jaguars. After a 3-26 season a year ago, head coach Matt Crenshaw added 10 scholarship players in the offseason, six of which are transfers. However it hasn’t really helped, as they stand at a lowly 3-20 at this point with an 0-12 record in conference play.
