The Los Angeles Dodgers (93-69, 52-29 home, 41-40 away) will face the Toronto Blue Jays (94-68, 54-27, 40-41 away) in the 2025 World Series. Los Angeles is on a quest to become the first back-to-back World Series champion since the Yankees three-peated from 1998-2000, while Toronto is looking to win its first title since 1993.

Game 1 of the best-of-seven series will take place on Friday, October 24th, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. All games are scheduled for an 8:00pm ET first pitch. If the series goes the full seven games, it will end on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The Dodgers won two of three against the Jays during an August series in Los Angeles. They dominated the first two games, outscoring Toronto 14-2, before the Jays eked out a 5-4 victory in the finale. The finale two games hit the over, while the first stayed under its total.

The odds for Game 1 of the World Series have already been posted. The Dodgers have opened as -148 favorites to win Game 1, with the Blue Jays coming back as +126 home underdogs. The Game 1 pitching matchup figures to be two-time Cy Young-winner Blake Snell for the Dodgers against veteran Kevin Gausman for the Blue Jays. Snell and Gausman have both already started two Game 1s in the 2025 postseason. Snell also started Game 2 of the Dodgers’ NLDS against the Phillies.
