Game 4 of the Nuggets vs T-wolves series goes down tonight in Minnesota, with the Timberwolves looking to take a 3-1 lead. Online sportsbooks are siding against them in the latest NBA odds, which I believe opens up value on Minnesota in the spread market.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 pm ET from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, with ABC providing the coverage nationwide, and TSN taking care of Canadian TV rights.

Nuggets vs T-wolves Injury Report
The big news heading into tonight’s game is the status of T-wolves superstar Anthony Edwards. He was forced to leave Minnesota’s Game 3 victory early with an undisclosed injury, and there was concern he may miss Game 4. Fortunately for T-wolves backers, Edwards has been removed from the injury report altogether and will suit up.
The news isn’t quite so rosy out of the Denver camp, as Aaron Gordon is a game-time decision after sitting out the last contest. Without Gordon’s physical presence and rim-protection capabilities in Game 3, the Timberwolves relentlessly attacked the basket. If Gordon is unable to suit up again, Denver will be forced to rely on smaller rotations, placing a heavier physical burden on Nikola Jokić.

My favorite bet in Game 4 is the T-wolves +1.5. The Nuggets are currently road favorites despite taking a double-digit loss in Game 3. While Denver has shown resilience lately—going 3-1 straight up following a loss over their last four games—they have fallen off a cliff when laying points. The Nuggets are a dismal 3-7 against the spread as a favorite over their last 10 games.
Conversely, Minnesota thrives when tested by elite competition. The T-wolves are an impressive 3-1 against the spread against opponents with a winning record over their last four games.
Minnesota is imposing its will in the paint so far this series. The T-wolves boast a 109.1 Offensive Rating, racking up 174 points in the paint compared to the Nuggets’ 116. The Timberwolves are vacuuming up 52.7% of all available rebounds, ranking 4th among postseason teams, while bullying Denver’s interior unit. Defensively, Minnesota is holding Denver to a remarkably poor 40.8% shooting mark, making the NBA Championship odds contender look very average.

Best Bets for Nuggets vs T-wolves Game 4
- Nikola Jokić Over 29.5 Points (-118 at Bet365)
Moving over to the NBA props market, where I’m betting Jokic to clear 29.5 points. With Gordon battling a calf issue and the Nuggets staring down a potential 3-1 series deficit, Denver will have no choice but to lean on their franchise cornerstone. I expect the multi-time MVP to take on a massive offensive workload rather than deferring as a pure facilitator.
Jokic has fallen short of this line in all three games so far, but it’s been a lack of efficiency not volume that’s held him back. He’s averaging 22 field goal attempts per contest, but is shooting just 40% from the field and 20% from three. Given that he’s a career 56% shooter overall, and knocks down threes at a 36% clip, we can safely bank on positive regression coming his way.
