The 2022 NCAA Tournament picks back up this Thursday and Friday (March 24-25) with Sweet 16 action. A lucrative FanDuel Sportsbook promo is on offer for the games and you won’t want to miss out.

Anyone who signs up now and makes a (minimum) $5 pre-game wager on a March Madness game will land a $150 bonus. See more information on how this March Madness promo works, plus links to claim the bonus, in the sections below. Also find best bets for the Sweet 16 in the final section.

Claim FanDuel Sportsbook Promo for March Madness

This is literally a can’t-lose promo offer from FanDuel Sportsbook. In order to claim the bonus offer, first click on the FanDuel Sportsbook banner directly above. This will send you to a FanDuel sign-up page. Complete the registration forms and then make a minimum $10 deposit.

Once you have money at your disposal, make sure your first wager at FanDuel Sportsbook is a (minimum) $5 bet on any college basketball market. The qualifying wager can be on a point spread, moneyline, total, or player prop.

You do not need to worry about entering a promo code during registration. If you follow the links provided in this article, the promo code will be automatically applied.

As soon as you place your $5 qualifying wager, you will land $150 in bonus money. It’s that easy. The outcome of your bet is not relevant when it comes to the bonus money. Of course, if your bet wins, you will also get the return from the qualifying wager.

But even if your qualifying wager loses, you will still find the $150 in bonus money credited to your FanDuel Sportsbook account.

Who Is Eligible for FanDuel Sportsbook NCAA Tournament Promo?

This FanDuel Sportsbook NCAA Tournament promo is not available to the entire country, unfortunately. The main restrictions are as follows.

First, it is only available to new FanDuel Sportsbook customers making a first-time deposit. If you have previously deposited money at a FanDuel Sportsbook site – even in a different state than you currently reside – you will not be able to claim this sign-up bonus.

Second, the FanDuel promo code is only available to bettors who are physically present in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Third, all bettors must be 21 years of age at the time of registration.

Fourth, the qualifying wager must be a minimum of $5. It can be placed on any team to win its Sweet 16 game, but it must be made before tip-off and it cannot be cashed out.

One last thing to note is that the bonus money cannot be immediately withdrawn. It must be wagered at the sportsbook within 14 days of being credited to your account. In other words, there is a 1x rollover on the bonus money.

Best Ways to Use FanDuel Sportsbook March Madness Bonus

With the fineprint out of the way, let’s look at some of the best ways to use this promo. Even though you will be getting the bonus money regardless, it would still be in your interest to win the qualifying wager. Also, you will need to put the bonus money back in play before you can withdraw it, and you will need to win those wagers to make the bonus money count.

Looking at the opening Sweet 16 odds, there are a few wagers that I like heading into Thursday and Friday’s games.

The first bet I am personally making on the Sweet 16 is under 68.5 in the first half of Houston vs Arizona. The Cougars are playing absolutely suffocating defense right now and they play at one of the slowest tempos in the country. Arizona is the opposite; the Wildcats love to run and play at the fifth-fastest pace. But I trust Kelvin Sampson’s ability to turn this game into the methodical slug-fest that he knows best-suits his team.

The other bet I’m looking at is Arkansas +9.5 (-110) against high-flying Gonzaga. I  picked Gonzaga to win the tournament in my expert bracket and the analytics say they’re the best team. They continue to have the best odds to win the NCAA Tournament despite having a considerably tougher path than the likes of Kansas.

That said, I don’t see a ten-point difference between the Zags and Razorbacks, not on a neutral court with a championship-like atmosphere, and not the way Gonzaga has played its first two games of the Tournament.

Gonzaga and #16 Georgia State were tied at 54 with 13 minutes left in the round of 64. In round two, Memphis took a ten-point lead into halftime against the Zags before Mark Few’s team hit the gas in the final 20 minutes.

Arkansas has looked vulnerable, too, but they have the talent and coaching to keep this within single digits. Don’t forget, not only did Eric Musselman take Arkansas to the Elite Eight just last season, he also led Nevada to the Sweet 16 in 2018.
