We made it. It feels like years ago that the college football season started, but we battled through and hopefully stuffed some cash in our pockets along the way. If that didn’t happen, we have one last chance tonight to turn it all around.

The National Title Game is one game that I believe every American should have at least two bets on. A lot of people say there should be more bets, but we need to start somewhere. Two is a very reasonable place to start, and I’m nothing if not reasonable. Lucky for us, if you don’t know what to bet, you can just tail my two bets because I’ve found two of the greatest bets anyone has ever seen. Keep reading, and I’ll tell you all about them.

Will Howard Will Get Loose

When we’re looking for bets on any National Title Game, the first place we need to look is the quarterback spot. Obviously, both of these teams have a guy slinging it since they’re in the Natty. But we can’t just bet on both quarterbacks.

We need to pick one, and the one I decided to go with is getting all the love right now.

Let’s get some honesty out of the way real fast. I wasn’t the biggest Will Howard guy at first. I want guys to prove to me that they belong in my personal Circle of Trust, and frankly, he didn’t do that early on this season. But, I believe in giving guys as many chances as they need, and Will has taken advantage of those chances.

Go back and look at this kid’s game logs. When the lights are the brightest, he turns up. Against Texas, he went for 289 yards. When he saw Oregon, he dropped 319 and against Tennessee, he went for 311. At the end of the day, he’s battle-tested. We’ve all seen what he can do at this point.

Now I get Notre Dame has held guys in check, but our guy Will might not be a guy that can be held down. He’s got an absolute cannon for an arm, and he’s got weapons that simply can’t be covered. It would be irresponsible for us not to bet Will the Thrill to throw for at least 250 yards tonight. Feels right.

Notre Dame Will Not Back Down

Just because we like the Ohio State quarterback to throw for at least 250 yards doesn’t mean we’re out on Notre Dame. Not even close. On top of being a storied program, they’ve got great helmets and absolute tanks in the backfield.

On top of that, they most likely have God on their side after Shane Gillis’s prayer.

It’s tough for me to bet on teams like Notre Dame because of the way they play. I’m a “throw the ball every play” guy, and they’re a bunch of “run it down your throat” guys. Our kinds don’t mix, but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect them.

The thing is, we can still bet on these “run it down your throat” teams. We just have to get creative. Lucky for us, FanDuel gave us a 30% profit boost on this thing, so we can just hit the Team Total section. Why? Because we know for a fact that Notre Dame is scoring at least 20 points tonight.

Over their last 13 games, the Fighting Irish have dropped 20+ in every single game. Given that we think Ohio State should move the ball on them, we should also think Notre Dame is a little aggressive on offense. They’ll have to do something when Ohio State hangs a few points. At the end of the day, we’re only asking for 20 here. Feels easy.
