2020 has been a hell of a year for hip-hop superstar Kanye West. With his on-again, off-again presidential bid, the spotlight on Kanye has been only getting hotter. But this week, the Kanye news has suddenly focused around his relationship with wife Kim Kardashian-West.
Kanye’s recent Twitter tirade blatantly called out Kim and her family. Kanye’s tweet “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform'” shows things are not as peachy keen as they once seemed for the Hollywood it couple.
As Kanye readies himself for his next move, entertainment fans are already eyeing out who Kim’s next suitor will be once she and Kanye call it quits.

Kim Back to an NBA Wife Life?
Houston Rockets player James Harden is the favorite here. You may be wondering why Kim’s sister Khloe’s ex would be the most likely pick for Kim’s new husband. It’s a strange pick, for sure, and just doesn’t seem likely no matter how good the odds are.
A cornucopia of it men are on the list of potential Kardashian husbands, ranging from Amazon’s Jeff Bezos to rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Eminem. It’s interesting to see basketball star Paul George with such short odds, too.

The Clippers forward went on record in a 2012 interview dispelling any Kardashian rumors. But eight years later, it’s possible things could change.
Similarly on the athlete front, former USC great Reggie Bush makes the list. Reggie’s wife Lilit Avagyan grabbed headlines when the two got together for her strikingly similar looks to Kim. But would Reggie really leave Lilit for Kardashian herself? Doubtful.
Golden State Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thompson is the person with the best odds who actually stands the best chance. He’s tall, handsome, and looks like he’d fit within Kim’s aesthetic. He’s also different looking enough from Kanye that it won’t look like Kim just swapped out the rapper for a lookalike replacement.
Pick: Klay Thompson (+1000)

If Kanye’s tweet wasn’t enough to go on, let’s look at Kim and Kanye’s overall relationship. The two have had a tumultuous ride. Kanye isn’t the even easiest celebrity to support so imagine how difficult he must be in the confines of a marriage.
Kanye’s constant antics are difficult to watch even for the casual entertainment fan. Living with and loving a man who refuses to seek help or control his own behavior must be tiring for his partner.

Kim recently replied on Instagram Stories to Kanye’s behavior, saying “As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because off the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.”
Will Kim stick around though? She really has given the marriage a good shot despite the troubles Kanye’s thrown her way. Early days in the relationship showed a lot of promise, but as the relationship continues to unravel it’s really unlikely to picture Kim and Kanye as endgame status.
Funnily enough, just earlier this month, Kim and Kanye’s relationship was one of the most likely to survive in a long list of celebrity couples.
Pick: Yes (-180)

Odds on Kanye West’s Business Partnerships
Prop | Yes Odds | No Odds |
---|---|---|
Kanye Ends Partnership With Adidas Before 2021 | +450 | -850 |
Kanye Ends Partnership With Gap Before 2021 | +350 | -600 |
Kanye Confined To An Institution in 2020 | +300 | -500 |
The timing of Kanye’s meltdowns has been exceptionally bad timing when you consider the partnerships his Yeezy line has secured with massive brands including Adidas and Gap.
While the collabs are still in their early days, at this point, Kanye’s work is done. All he had to do was sign the line. Yeezy has tons of designers and artists doing the hard work that Kanye gets credit for.
His recent behavior doesn’t really affect whether or not he can see the partnerships through considering his brand has enough talent to see the work through.

If anything, the partnerships would fall through only because the brands don’t want to be associated with Kanye’s behavior. But neither Adidas or Gap would want to have bad press. Cutting ties with a collaborator in the middle of a mental health crisis would look terrible.
On the flipside, Gap and Adidas may also want to continue the partnerships due to the recent collective interest in Kanye. With future partnerships less likely at this point, fans will be clamoring to get their hands on these products now.
Pick: No To All (-850, -600, -500)
