Will the Rich Get Richer?

The biggest news of Week 7 is the pairing of Bugha and Ninja. Ninja already broke the internet when he announced that he would no longer be streaming on Twitch and instead switched over to Mixer.

His new partner for Fortnite Friday is none other than Bugha, the 16 year old WHO just won $3 million at the Fortnite World Cup.

It should be noted that Bugha won the solos event and the style exhibited at the World Cup is much different than the format of Fortnite Friday. This tournament is all about kills and racking up as many eliminations as you can in a public lobby.

With that said, Bugha has won a Fortnite Friday event before, teaming up with Clix to win Week 6.

Bugha probably doesn’t have much chemistry with Ninja but in reality, it really doesn’t matter that much when they are both as talented as they are.

Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork

The best duo in terms of chemistry and caliber taking part in Week 7 is Mongraal and Mitr0. They’ve been playing together for a long time and they have the results to show for it. At the World Cup duos event, the pair finished in sixth place.

To add to the resume, Mongraal and Mitr0 won Week 3 of the Fortnite Friday event.

When it comes to competing against the likes of Ninja and Bugha, Mongraal and Mitr0 should have the upper hand in communication and they’ve already shown the pedigree to win it all.

The Faze Boys

The duo of Mongraal and Mitr0 isn’t the only pair to already win a week of Friday Fortnite. Funk and Nate Hill of Faze Clan have also accomplished that feat and have been partnering for just as long.

Despite that, their odds of winning are significantly worse despite having similar results. Again, this isn’t about patient play like at the World Cup, it’s about racking up eliminations. Nate Hill and Funk can do that just, and there’s a much bigger payout if they can win Friday Fortnite again.

Lost in the Shadows

Former Friday Fortnite champion Aydan made some waves when he announced he was teaming up with Faze Sway. They’re both two of the best controller players in the world and don’t shy away from aggression.

The biggest variable of week 7 is that they’ll be playing on a new update. Season 10 just hit Fortnite and this includes changes to the map and a brand new two player operated mech suit. None of the teams have had much time to practice with the new update so it’ll come down to which ever team can ad lib the best.

Pick: NateHill / Funk (+1400)
