Tekkz Dominates FIFA Circuit

The FIFA world wasn’t ready for Tekkz. He burst onto the scene at the beginning of 2018 and has been a consistent force since then. This season, he’s racked up a total of seven titles including victories at the ePremier League and the FIFA eClub World Cup. Add on his three FUT Champions Cup titles and it’s impossible to ignore what he’s done.

With 13,000-plus Global Series points, he has over 3,500 more points than the next-highest player. On the XBox leaderboard, Tekkz has double the points of the reigning eWorld Cup Champion MsDossary.

Tekkz is human, however. Stokes took him down by a score of 5-3 at the Global Series Xbox One Playoffs. MsDossary also defeated the point leader at the FUT Champions Cup April.

Despite a couple of blemishes, Tekkz is still the safe bet at the eWorld Cup at +170 odds.

Nicolas Topples PS4 Leaderboard

While Tekkz was running wild on the Xbox One, Nicolas has been crushing everyone on the PlayStation ladder. He surpassed the second place ‘Maestro’ by nearly 4000 points and has won his fair share of tournaments as well. His most impressive win came over MsDossary at the Gfinity Licensed Qualifying Event in March.

His dominance on the PlayStation was reinforced when he took home the PlayStation Global Series Playoffs. Like Tekkz, Nicolas does not have a perfect record. He suffered a blowout 6-1 loss to the hands of ‘tuga810’ at the FUT Champions Cup in February.

Although Nicolas has dominated on the PS4, his points and accolades don’t hold up to Tekkz. He still provides a much better value even though his trophy cupboard is a little less packed.

The Defending Champion

The best value available is the reigning eWorld Cup champion, MsDossary. He’s been dominating the Saudi Arabian FIFA scene and also picked up a couple of victories at the FUT Champions Cup. He’s one of a select few who has a victory over Tekkz to their name this season. His 6-4 victory over Tekkz at FUT Champions April proves that he has what it takes to take down the tournament favorite.

MsDossary has already shown he can handle the big stage pressure at the eWorld Cup. That pressure could very well prove to be too much for the young Tekkz.

Pick: Nicolas (+350)
