- A sequel to the Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson “match” is rumored to be in the works after Phil Mickelson replied to a fan on Twitter
- Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are also believed to potentially be participating as celebrity partners
- We’ve rounded up all the prop bets to wager on should the event come to fruitionÂ
After Phil Mickelson defeated Tiger Woods in “the match” in November of 2018, it appeared their exhibition match was going to just be a one-off with no rumors circulating that they’d be at it again – until now.
Mickelson defied odds makers to win that meeting, and he’s ratcheted up the rumor mill that they’ll do it again with some tweets teasing that it’s in the works, with some big names from the NFL world potentially joining them as well.

Tiger Out for Redemption
Last time these two met, the match ended up being finished under floodlights with a makeshift par 3, when lefty emerged victorious on the fourth playoff hole. Whenever this match might eventually be played, there will surely be a significant amount of pride on the line, surely leading to more lame trash talk.
You know Tiger will be extra motivated to not have to hear Phil talk smack like he did after his victory.
Working on it

Tiger has played just twice in 2020, a tie for ninth at the Farmers Insurance Open and a last place finish of those who made the cut at Riviera. Phil has been a mixed bag, with two third place results, but also four missed cuts. They’ll both be fresh considering there won’t be tour golf for the foreseeable future, so take a rested Tiger.
Pick: Tiger Woods (-165)
Bet the Under for Curse Words
As mentioned the first iteration of ‘the match’ featured light trash talking, but nowhere near the amount of smack being thrown around that people had wanted. They’ll both be mic’d up, and it’s just hard to believe that they won’t try to keep it at least somewhat civil in the cursing category. Though, let’s be honest, that hasn’t exactly stopped Tiger in the past.

You’re actually getting better value to wager on them not swearing more than six times, which seems like an excessive amount for an exhibition match. Why not take the extra cash when you can get it?
Pick: Under 6.5 curse words (+135)
Which Pairing Will Win the Match?
Pairing | Odds |
---|---|
Tiger Woods/Peyton Manning | -180 |
Tiger Woods/Tom Brady | -130 |
Phil Mickelson/Peyton Manning | +110 |
Phil Mickelson/Tom Brady | +140 |
To add some spice to the event, there is plenty of speculation that two legendary quarterbacks will join Tiger and Phil to compete and make an all-star foursome. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are believed to be the fellow partners, at a yet unnamed course or date.
Hearing Tiger v Phil II might indeed be happening as a PPV event but that the caveat is that each will have a partner. Two names being mentioned? Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Both Brady and Manning are no strangers to teeing it up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, with both displaying plenty of game. Another option, should one of those two not make it, would be Tony Romo given his prior experience playing PGA Tour events.
Just in case you thought Phil might’ve been facetious about this actually happening, he doubled down on his tweets.
I don’t tease. I’m kinda a sure thing

A Tiger Woods-Tom Brady duo would pair up the two players widely considered to be the greatest ever at their respective positions in their sports, and you’re getting slightly better value than if you’d pick Tiger and Peyton.
Pick: Tiger Woods and Tom Brady Win Match (-130)
