Golden State had no answer for Booker during the regular season, as he averaged 33.7 points per game versus them on 50% shooting. The scary thing is, he racked up those stats while getting virtually nothing out his long range shooting, which is an area of his game he’s significantly improved. Booker has splashed multiple triples in six of his past seven outings, exceeding 30 points in five of those contests.

As for the Warriors defense, it was hardly the reason they got past the Clippers in the 9th vs 10th place game, as they yielded a 50% shooting percentage to LAC, and a 40% clip from three. Golden State ranked bottom-10 this season in opponent field goal percentage, paving the way for a big night for Booker and Green.

Speaking of Green, he comes into tonight’s game on the heels of a 35-point performance that saw him rack up a 42% usage rate. That was 12% higher than Booker’s, and it marked the 15th time in last 19 starts that’s he racked up 20+ points.

We’re probably not going to get another 29 field goal attempts from Green tonight, but given his recent efficiency and the quality of the matchup, he can easily cash me this ticket.

Green has shot 46% or better from the field in eight of his past 10 outings, with 2+ threes in seven of those contests. Also working in his favor, is the Warriors poor defensive rebounding. Green isn’t an elite presence on the glass, but this is a plus-matchup, and there’s a good chance he can crash the boards and add an easy put back or two to pad his stats.
