Probable Pitchers
Two pitchers without a win this season face off as Carlos Carrasco (0-2, 6.59) will start for the Mets against rookie Edward Cabrera (0-1, 5.23).
Carrasco has made seven starts since missing the first four months of the season with a torn right hamstring. He has only one quality start and the Mets are 3-4 when he pitches.

Carrasco is 0-1 with a 4.82 ERA in four road starts this season and 0-2 with a 5.53 ERA in six nighttime outings. This season, he has faced the Marlins twice and has an 0-0 record with a 4.66 ERA. He is 1-0 with a 2.14 ERA against them in four career starts.
Carrasco’s lone appearance at loanDepot Park came on Aug. 4. He was charged with two runs in 4.1 innings of a no-decision.
Cabrera will be making his third career MLB start since being called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Aug. 25. He faced the Mets last Tuesday in New York and lost as he allowed three runs on seven hits in four innings while striking out two and walking none.
