Over his career against the Royals, Lynn is 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA in 12 starts. He’s 3-2 with a 4.46 ERA in six starts at Kauffman Stadium.

Royals right-hander Brady Singer was named Kansas City’s pitcher of the month for July. In five July starts Singer was 1-0 with a 1.97 ERA.

However, he launched August with one of his worst performances of the season, and it was against the White Sox. He allowed a season-high 11 hits over six innings, surrendering four earned runs in a 4-1 loss.
