How to Enter the Sweepstakes

Follow the link in the banner ad above, register (if you haven’t already), and then opt-in to the World Series promotion. The mere act of opting in counts as one entry to the contest.

After opting in, customers can gain more entries to the contest by making MLB wagers. Every MLB wager of at least $5 placed between now and 11:59 pm ET, October 6, will count as one entry. But remember, customers must have opted into the contest first. Only subsequent wagers will count as entries to the World Series sweepstakes.

Customers can also enter by mail. BetMGM provides the following instructions for enter by mail: “legibly hand-print your first and last name, email address, and Sportsbook Account user ID on a postcard or piece of paper no larger than 6” x 8” … and mail the Postcard in a business size #10 envelope … to: BetMGM LLC, MLB World Series Sweepstakes, 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ 07311.” Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 6th and received no later than October 11th.

There is no stated limit to how many entries – either wager entries or mail-in entries – customers can submit.

The grand prize in this sweepstakes is as follows:

• two tickets to a 2021 World Series game (determined by the third-party organization running the contest);
• two round-trip plane tickets from the winner’s region to the location of the relevant World Series game;
• two field passes to view batting practice for the relevant World Series game;
• two-night accommodations in the city hosting the relevant World Series game.

The estimated retail value of the prize is $3,000 USD.

Terms and Conditions

This promotional offer is subject to the following terms and conditions:

World Series Schedule

It will be nearly a month before the World Series matchup is finalized, but the schedule was actually announced in late August.

Unfortunately, the contest does not specify which game the winner of the contest will attend.

Based on the current MLB standings and balance of power, the winner will likely be attending a game in one of the following teams’ home stadiums: Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, St Louis Cardinals, or Tampa Bay Rays. (The Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays are sitting just outside of the playoff picture with four games remaining.)

Even though the Dodgers are going to have to go the Wild-Card route to win the NL Pennant, they remain the favorites in the World Series odds, followed by Houston, Milwaukee, Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, San Francisco Giants.
