The Philadelphia 76ers have yet to put together a signature win against one of the elite teams in the NBA since acquiring James Harden.
Perhaps a date with the defending champs with plenty on the line is what the doctor ordered.
The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday night to take on the Sixers, with both teams currently in a three-way tie for second in the East, along with the Boston Celtics, just a game behind the Miami Heat.

The visiting Bucks are 2-point underdogs, in a matchup of the two of the top three scorers in the NBA in Joel Embiid (2nd, 29.9ppg) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (3rd, 29.7ppg).
Embiid is currently the betting favorite in the 2022 NBA MVP odds, with Giannis sitting in third spot.
Milwaukee Bucks Betting Analysis
The Bucks ran into a buzz saw known as the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night, who shredded Milwaukee 127-102, even without Ja Morant, who’s out with a knee injury.
It was only Milwaukee’s third loss in the last 13 games, as they struggled to find their offensive form with Jrue Holiday out of the lineup with ankle soreness.

The Bucks shot just 39.8% from the floor, including 7-of-32 from long range, a 21.9% clip.
Giannis led the offensive attack with 30 points to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists and four blocks. Khris Middleton had his struggles, shooting 5-for-16 from the field for 16 points, with five rebounds, five assists and five turnovers. Brook Lopez was the only other Buck to score in double digits, with 10.

While Holiday is off the injury report and expected back in the lineup, Antetokounmpo was listed as a game-time decision. He’s been battling knee soreness, and Milwaukee is trying to work in rest for their star as the playoffs approach. With two full days off between games, he should be good for this matchup.
Philadelphia 76ers Betting Analysis
Philly did almost everything right, but couldn’t seal the deal against the Suns to close out their road trip. Still, they did take two of three, and have gone 6-3 in their last nine games.
After building an early 14-point lead, the Sixers could not hold off the onslaught of the NBA’s top team, eventually falling 114-104.

Embiid was a wrecking ball in this one, finishing with 37 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. He didn’t get much help from his all-star running mate.
James Harden shot just 2-for-11 from the floor, finishing with 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

That’s the second outing he’s struggled against one of the top two teams in the 2022 NBA Championship odds.
Earlier this month, he was a miserable 3-for-17 for 11 points in a 129-100 beatdown at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets, his former team.
Bucks v 76ers Prediction
This will be the third and final meeting between these teams this season, with both teams winning on the road in previous head-to-heads.
In the last meeting on Feb 17, the 76ers snuck by the Bucks 123-120. The stars powered this showdown: Embiid led the way with 42 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, while Giannis went for 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes.
The Bucks are one of the strongest offensive squads in the league, fourth in scoring at 114.9 points per game. Since Harden’s joined Philly, they’ve upped their output as well, climbing from their regular season average of 108.8 points, which ranks 19th, to 112.3 in the last 15 games since the Harden pickup.

The Sixers are 21-16 straight up at home, but they’ve struggled against the spread at Wells Fargo, sporting just a 15-22 mark, the fourth worst ATS record in the NBA.
