Locked in for a first-round matchup in the NBA playoff bracket, the 76ers (53-28, 24-16 away) and Nets (45-36, 23-17 home) provide a preview to their first-round series in each side’s final game of the regular season on Sunday, April 9th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Philly is the 3 seed and will have home-court advantage over the No. 6 seed Nets once the playoffs begin, but this postseason tune-up will be on Brooklyn’s floor. However, the Nets have similar records wherever they play, going 23-17 at home and 22-19 on the road this campaign.
Tipoff for this affair goes at 1:00 pm ET and can be seen on NBS Sports Philadelphia. Below, find the 76ers vs Nets odds plus our best bet and pick.

Since this game has no meaning in the standings, a lot of the main attractions will be sitting on the sidelines or playing very few minutes to make sure they’re healthy come playoff time.
We’ll update you as much as we can, but those decisions will come from coaches prior to tip off and even if Joel Embiid does play, which isn’t expected, he likely won’t get many minutes. With the status of so many up in the air, the Nets are 3.5-point favorites to beat Philly for the first time this season.

Many Lineup Questions in 76ers vs Nets Odds
It’s the last game of the season for both and more importantly than anything, both coaches want to make sure their players are as close to 100% as possible come playoff time. Without a doubt, a number of players will be rested with bigger things to look forward to.
For the 76ers, Doc Rivers elected to keep a number of his best players off the court on Friday, a 76ers 136-131 overtime win over the Hawks. Chalk in the NBA MVP odds, Joel Embiid sat out the whole game along with running mate James Harden and Tobias Harris. Bet on Embiid and Harden to sit out this one as well.
Luka Dončić will finish the season with 32.4 PPG.
Joel Embiid can't finish worse than 32.6.

Also unavailable was the 76ers’ 3rd leading scorer, Tyrese Maxey, although he’s been out for two games and is nursing a neck injury. Even without any of those players, Philly still managed to take out Atlanta. Georges Niang and Jalen McDaniels led the way with 24 points each.
Philly has the leg up in the head-to-head with Brooklyn this season, taking all three matchups. Don’t let that 3-0 mark fool you though, every contest has been within single digits. and the Nets are the favorites in the NBA odds for this one.

On the other side, Brooklyn has already ruled out Cam Johnson for their season finale. Guard, Spencer Dinwiddie and center, Nic Claxton are also listed as questionable. Brooklyn has been very steady at home of late, winning four of their last five straight up as hosts.
76ers vs Nets Prediction
Currently, the 76ers are the 5th betting favorites in the odds to win the NBA championship, while Brooklyn are one of the longest shots of any team that’s qualified for the playoffs. However, that means nothing when trying to nail down the best bet for this contest.

Make sure you’re watching for who will be in and out as this game gets closer to start time. The betting line will likely move depending on who is confirmed to play and who will be sitting out.
Against Atlanta on Friday, Philly’s depth players showed they can more than hold their own, defeating a Hawks team that was actually playing for positioning in the play-in tournament. Our prediction is that the 76ers bench crew keeps it very tight in this one, so take the 76ers to cover.
Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +3.5 (-110)
