Bucks Betting Outlook

Milwaukee had the chance to close things out at Fiserv Forum on Friday, but between Tatum’s brilliance and a lack of help for Giannis, they couldn’t get it done. The Greek Freak truly enjoyed a historic night, becoming the first player since Shaquille O’Neal to register 40 points and 20 rebounds in a postseason game. It didn’t matter, however.

Only two other scorers finished in double-figures, with Jrue Holiday notching 17 points and Pat Connaughton scoring 14. The supporting cast struggled immensely, with the Bucks shooting just 24% from beyond the arc and 41% from the field. This was clear proof that it doesn’t matter how well Antetokounmpo plays, they will not be able to win without surrounding him with efficiency.

Holiday, in particular, must step up to the plate and have the game of his life on Saturday. We know he always shows up defensively, but it’s on the offensive end where Jrue needs to really thrive with Khris Middleton still out. Milwaukee also managed to slow down Tatum earlier in the series. If he goes off again, Mike Budenholzer’s group will be in trouble. The Bucks have to contain him as best as humanly possible.

Celtics Betting Outlook

With their backs against the wall, the Celtics clutched up in a big way on Friday. Yes, Tatum was the star of the show with 46 points including 11 straight points in the fourth quarter, but two other starters in particular really thrived. Marcus Smart dropped 21 points and dished out seven assists including a 5 for 9 clip from deep, while Jaylen Brown posted 22 points to complement Tatum.

Ime Udoka’s squad shot the lights out too, draining 40% of their triples. Tatum was 7 for 15 all on his own. He certainly made a serious statement in this contest and all the eyes will be on him again in Game 7 to deliver. The Bucks actually made a run in the final period but Boston’s defense put the clamps on and shut them down, eventually winning by 13 points.

With the C’s faithful behind them on Sunday, the TD Garden will be rocking. Tatum is obviously the X-factor but the rest of the roster has to get the job done as well. Only 15 points were scored off the Celtics bench in Game 6.

Bucks vs Celtics Prediction

I truly believe Game 7 is going to come right down to the wire. The Bucks are 8-0 in series-clinchers under Budenholzer, but the C’s definitely have a slight advantage on their home floor. There is a very good chance this will be a one-possession game. That’s why I like Milwaukee ATS.

Pick: Bucks +5 (-110)
