Brooklyn rolled the Boston Celtics in just five games in the opening round, with Kevin Durant posting 32.6 points per night to lead the way. Odds as of June 4th

Giannis Owns the Boards

Antetokounmpo is a force to be reckoned with inside and the Nets will have their hands extremely full with him in this series. They frankly don’t have anyone who can defend him on a regular basis because of his strength and size, never mind the abilities to score at will.

While the Greek Freak will likely fill it up at the rim in Game 1, the value here will be in just how many rebounds he will collect. The Bucks star is leading the playoffs with 15 boards per game while hitting the over in two of his last four appearances.

Brooklyn is around the middle of the pack in the NBA in rebounds and they frankly don’t have the length to counter Antetokounmpo, with Kevin Durant or DeAndre Jordan being their best bet. Giannis is going to have a banner night on the glass in Game 1.

Pick: Over 13.5 Rebounds (-105)

Harden Dropping Dimes

James Harden is the X-factor to the Nets as they eye a title run. While he can score from anywhere on the floor, he’s most important to this team because of his ability to initiate offense and consistency facilitate the rock.

Harden is averaging 10.6 assists per contest in the postseason. He had his way with the C’s in round one, but this current task will be much more difficult. The Bucks are truly versatile defensively, but the Beard is also has an extremely high IQ for the game.

While KD and Irving need to be firing on all cylinders for Brooklyn to advance, Harden needs to keep playmaking at a high level. He makes everyone around him better by drawing double-teams when driving to the cup, which then frees up guys for open looks. His selflessness is on full display every night.

While he’s only hit the over in one of his last four games, Harden’s lone meeting with Milwaukee this season saw him dish out 12 assists. Expect the nine-time All-Star to show out and set the tone early with his passing.

Pick: James Harden Over 10.5 Rebounds (+102)
