  • There are eight NBA games on the board for Friday, May 14
  • Player props are a beautiful way to get in on the action
  • See available player props for the top players taking to the floor tonight within the story below

The last Friday night of the 2020-21 NBA regular season has arrived. Fans may look at the eight game slate tonight with disgust as none of them feature two teams headed to the playoffs. But bettors know better as each game can still offer value due to the uncertainty of the players in action tonight.

ESPN will lend a hand tonight by televising the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors. While the Pelicans have been eliminated from playoff contention, bettors will still want to get action down on this one. After all, it’s the last Friday night of the NBA season.

It’s the time of year, right before the playoffs, where teams play all kinds of roster shenanigans. Superstars will magically me scratched at the last minute as a result. As of publish time, there were still no props available for the Cavaliers, Nuggets, Pistons, 76ers, Magic, Jazz, Clippers, Rockets, Kings, Pelicans, Warriors or Raptors.

Odds as of May 14th

Nothing But Net-o

Bradley Beal has been on the shelf for two straight games and the Washington Wizards have lost both games. They played the Atlanta Hawks tough, but ultimately came up short. At this point, they are fighting for their playoff lives and they will certainly be happy to see the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight in the nation’s capital.

One of the reasons both games with the Hawks were close was Raul Neto. He is a hustle guy getting more usage due to Beal being out and he’s making the most of it.

The books hung a 10.5 on Neto in the first game Beal was sidelined. He answered by dropping 12 points, covering in the third quarter. On Wednesday, his number came out at 10.5 before being bet up to 11.5 by tipoff. Again he answered the bell, dumping in 14 points covering easily.

What was interesting in Wednesday’s game was the fact that Neto got into foul trouble in the first quarter. In reality, it only cost him three-five minutes but it was nice to see him still clear the point total rather easily. Neto again took double digit shot attempts and will likely do so again tonight. If that happens, he will clear this total for the third night in a row.

  • The Pick: Neto OVER 11.5 Points (-110)

Holy Moses

The Oklahoma City Thunder are clearly a train wreck at the moment just playing out the string. Despite the recent beatings, they’ve got company in the NBA draft lottery as the Orlando Magic are now even with them for 3rd best lottery odds. They need to keep losing and they likely will again tonight to the Utah Jazz.

Even so, Moses Brown is worth a look in the prop market especially his points total. He can finish near the rim and he won’t need to do it too many times tonight.

It’s tough to take a player on a team that is being forecasted to get blown out but at the same time, the number here is so low that it shouldn’t matter. The Thunder were beaten by 57 points at the hands of the Indiana Pacers a couple weeks ago and Brown had 16 in that one. He only needs nine tonight.

The Thunder played the Jazz back on April 13th and Brown played 26 minutes and scored 12 points. He’s never going to light up the scoreboard, especially against Rudy Gobert, but that’s not needed tonight. It’s completely in the realm of possibilities that Brown can get up 8-10 shots and hit the free throw line a couple times in this matchup. If that happens, he should clear this super low point total.

  • The Pick: Brown OVER 8.5 Points (+100)
