Syracuse Betting Preview
Senior guard Buddy Boeheim, as he has so often all season, led Syracuse in the win over Clemson. He scored a game-high 25 points.
The son of longtime Orange coach Jim Boeheim knocked down four straight-pointers on his way to his ninth 20-point game of the college basketball season, including his second in the last three games.

Boeheim is averaging 19.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
Junior guard Joe Girard III finished with 23 points, five assists and four steals. That marked his fifth 20-point game of 2021-22.
He has averages of 13.9 points, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals.
Boeheim and Girardi combined to make eight of Syracuse’s nine three-pointers as the Orange shot 40.9% (9 of 22) from beyond the arc and 53.4% (31 of 58) overall. Syracuse shot better than 50% in each half, though it led just 40-39 at halftime before outscoring Clemson 51-39 over the final 20 minutes.
Junior center Jesse Edwards notched his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds while blocking four shots as Syracuse held a 39-26 edge on the boards. He is scoring 12.2 points, grabbing 6.7 rebounds and rejecting 3.0 shots a game.
Senior forward Jimmy Boeheim, Jim’s son and Buddy’s brother, chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. The transfer from Cornell is averaging 14.2 points and 6.4 rebounds.

Duke Betting Outlook
Duke had a chance to win Tuesday’s game but Wendell Moore’s driving attempt in the lane with two seconds left in overtime was blocked by John Butler to preserve Florida State’s one-point victory. The Seminoles went ahead on RayQuan Evans’ two free throws with 12 seconds remaining.

Freshman forward Paolo Banchero had another big game for Duke with 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Banchero notched his third double-double of the season and fourth straight 20-point games, giving him eight for 2021-22.
In what will likely be his only collegiate season, Banchero is averaging 18.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Sophomore forward Mark Williams finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots. Duke also got 13 points from Moore, a junior forward who has averages of 15.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
Freshman guard Trevor Keels left the game with a calf injury with 10:11 to go and did not return. His status for Saturday is questionable.
Keels has stuffed the stat sheet in his rookie year with averages of 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals.
This is excellent recognition and awareness by Trevor Keels. Here he uses his eyes to shift the low man to get Mark Williams an easy inside bucket. How well he processes the game at such a young age (18.8 on draft night) is one of the reasons I'm so high on him. pic.twitter.com/UvnwKLMLLb

Duke lost despite limiting Florida State to 35.6% (26 of 73) shooting, including 7 of 25 (28.0%) on three-point attempts. However, the Blue Devils had 15 turnovers to the Seminoles’ five.
Backing Duke this season has helped bettors turn a profit as the Blue Devils are 9-6-2 ATS, including 6-4-2 at Cameron.
Syracuse vs Duke Prediction
Duke has won four games in a row against Syracuse and six of the last seven, including 85-71 last Feb. 22 at home. Williams had a double-double for the Blue Devils with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Buddy Boeheim scored 21 points for the Orange.
Both teams could light up the scoreboard in this one. Duke is eighth nationally in Ken Pom’s adjusted offensive efficiency with 117.3 points per 100 possessions while Syracuse is 16th with 115.7. Look for the Orange to sneak under the number as double-digit underdogs.
