College Football Week 3 Parlay Picks
In our Week 3 college football parlay for Saturday, we have a couple teams that are poised for bounce-back performances, plus a Pac-12 team that is on the verge of becoming a college football superpower.
Pitt vs Western Michigan
Pittsburgh is in a prime bounce-back spot in Week 3 vs Western Michigan after losing to Tennessee last weekend. While there’s always potential for a letdown after a tough overtime game, throwing the Panthers’ moneyline into a parlay bet instead of betting the spread is a way to minimize the risk.

The Panthers have one of the best pass rushes in the ACC (6 sacks in 2GP), plus a veteran QB in Kedon Slovis. The Broncos rank near the bottom of FBS in both total offense and defense, and the Panthers won’t take their feet off the gas Saturday after West Michigan pulled the upset last year.

Virginia vs Old Dominion
Another team we like to bounce back in Week 3 is Virginia in their matchup with Old Dominion. The Cavaliers were held to just a field goal in a 24-3 loss to Illinois last weekend, which has put some value on their moneyline this weekend.
The Cavaliers rely on their rushing attack, which bodes well against ODU’s shaky run defense. The Monarchs are allowing close to 200 yards per game on the ground, and they won’t have an answer for a Virginia rush attack that will benefit from this step down in competition.

USC vs Fresno State
USC will look to continue their impressive start to the season when they travel to Fresno State in Week 3. The Trojans are undefeated through two games and feature a top favorite in the Heisman odds in quarterback Caleb Williams.

There won’t be any stopping USC’s electric offense in Week 3, but it’s the Trojans improved defense that makes us include them in our parlay. USC’s secondary is only allowing 177 passing yards per game, and it will prevent Fresno State QB Jake Haener from going shot for shot with Williams.

BYU vs Oregon
BYU is a popular underdog pick in Week 3, but oddsmakers have made Oregon the favorite for a reason. Bo Nix has performed much better at home in his career, and we could see him making a few big plays in front of the packed crowd in Eugene.

BYU still has the talent to win this game, especially with how they’ve played in the trenches. This Oregon team is just too much of an unknown after an up-and-down first two weeks, so while the Cougars have upset potential, teasing an alternate spread is the safe route.

Penn State vs Auburn
Penn State vs Auburn is the other game in our Week 3 teaser that we can see being decided by one possession. PSU QB Sean Clifford may be his sixth season, but he hasn’t exactly thrived in big-time road games, including Week 1 at Purdue when he only completed 54% of his passes.

The Tigers have the best player in this game in RB Tank Bigsby, who is averaging 6.8 yards per carry this season. Bigsby went for 100-plus yards and two scores against Penn State last year, and we like Auburn’s ground game to keep this one close again.
