Georgia Player Prop: Stetson Bennett Passing Yards

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett has been incredibly efficient at dissecting defenses this season. He’s also coming off of one of the greatest games of his career, going 23 of 29 for 274 yards and 4 touchdowns in a rout of LSU.

That being said, Bennett has thrown for over 272 passing yards just twice in his past five games. Moreover, the Ohio State defense has been stingy against the pass all year. Led by new coordinator Jim Knowles the Buckeyes have surrendered just 6.8 yards per pass.

Also, Georgia’s triumvirate of backs should dominate this game, allowing Bennett to simply manage proceedings. The Heisman-trophy favorite is unlikely to attempt enough passes to hit his yardage prop.

Georgia vs Ohio State Props Pick: Stetson Bennett UNDER 272.5 passing yards (-115)

Ohio State Player Prop: Miyan Williams Rushing Yards

Ohio State running backs have battled through injuries all year. Pre-season All-American Treveyon Henderson has dealt with a myriad of injuries and will miss the Peach Bowl due to a foot injury.

Although Miyan Williams will play in Saturday’s CFP semifinal, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson confirmed he has been under the weather this week and is still working through a stomach bug. While backup running back Chip Traynum stated Williams would be “ready to go”, one has to wonder if the junior back will be at 100%.

Remember, Williams suffered an ankle injury late in the regular season that forced him to miss games against Maryland and Michigan State. He ran just twice against Penn State and missed most of the Michigan game after appearing to tweak his ankle.

Additionally, the Georgia defense is allowing just 3 yards per rush this season. Teams have rarely bothered trying to penetrate the Bulldogs’ front seven. Moreover, if Ohio State is going to have any chance of an upset in the Peach Bowl, it will aim to turn the game into a shootout. Miyan Williams won’t get the touches necessary to hit the 70-yard threshold.

Georgia vs Ohio State Props Pick: Miyan Williams UNDER 70.5 rushing yards (-125)
