  • Two NFC West rivals will meet when the Arizona Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, November 21st
  • We still don’t know if Kyler Murray will play this week although Kliff Kingsbury says it will be “close”

The Arizona Cardinals (8-2) will take a trip up north to see the hated Seattle Seahawks (3-6) this Sunday. Kickoff from Lumen Field is scheduled for 4:25 pm ET on FOX. Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Jonathan Vilma (analyst) will be calling this game from the booth.

The Cardinals come into this one after getting waxed by the Carolina Panthers 34-10 last Sunday. Arizona was again without Kyler Murray and backup, Colt McCoy, had to leave early with a pectoral injury leading to disaster. The Seahawks didn’t fare much better as they got smoked 17-0 by the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

The most current odds show Arizona favored by 1.5 points which makes me think Murray is going to play. In terms of the total, that number sits at 48.5 which would be pretty high for a Cardinals game without Murray. As always, there are player props to bet and that’s what we’ll talk about here.

As of Saturday, Kyler Murray is still a game-time decision so player props on the Cardinals side will likely not be released.

Gerald Everett is a Wagon

Even though we don’t have a lot of options for player props in this one, we still have enough to get us by. All we have to do is find a guy that benefits greatly from Russell Wilson being back. It would also help if the guy was an absolute animal who could cash a bet on a single play.

Luckily for us and the Seahawks, Gerald Everett will be playing in this game and has a prop number.

Even after his breakout week against the Packers last week, Everett is a very affordable option in the prop market. I was shocked when I saw his receiving yards number where it is. He had a gimpy Wilson throwing him the ball last week and still was able to haul in eight balls for 63 yards. That’s crazy.

Some of his production was due to game script but we don’t know that the Seahawks will have a different one this week. If Kyler Murray plays, then the Cardinals could easily play this one with a lead. Then we just sit back and watch the Gerald Everett show in the second half.

This play does come with a warning as the haters are going to say this is a bad move. They’ll tell you the Cardinals have given up the least receiving yards to a tight end this season. They’re right but looking at the tight ends they’ve faced, I’m not scared. They’re two weeks removed from giving up 101 yards to George Kittle and he barely played. We only need 25.5 from Everett. I think he gets it easily.

  • The Pick: Gerald Everett Over 25.5 receiving yards (-115) wager 1.15 units to win 1 unit
  • SBD 2021 NFL Player Props Record: 18-18, +1.77 Units

DK Metcalf, Touchdown Machine

We absolutely have to take a touchdown prop in this game. It’s on the 4:00pm ET slate so our hands are pretty much tied. Can you even imagine not having a touchdown scorer prop for a game like this? Couldn’t be me, that’s for sure.

Plus we have the perfect guy and he’s coming at a great price.

I’m not the biggest stat guy but if your quarterbacks have a 130.7 passer rating when targeting a wide receiver then I’d say it would be a good idea to target that receiver. Especially in the red zone and the Seahawks have been. Metcalf has only had three games in which he didn’t score a touchdown this season so I’d say an even money move to find pay dirt this weekend is worth the risk.

  • Pick: DK Metcalf – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100) – Wager 1 unit to win 1 unit
  • SBD 2021 Touchdown Scorer prop record: 15-22, -1.79 units
