Odell Beckham Jr. Carves the Cowboys
Scoring 49 points on the road is obviously a team effort but Odell Beckham Jr. was absolutely the Browns best player on Sunday. He caught a touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield, he caught a touchdown pass from Jarvis Landry and he iced the game with a 50-yard touchdown run. In the end, he compiled 154 yards from scrimmage and the three touchdowns. It was a complete performance on a big stage that helped remind the football world the superstar Beckham Jr. is capable of being.

The 11 point victory in Dallas was full of positives but there are negative notes as well. Running back Nick Chubb suffered a knee injury and did not return against the Cowboys. The Browns’ defense also allowed Dax Prescott to throw for 502 yards and four touchdowns. A key injury on offense coupled with big question marks in the secondary are the two leading reasons they opened as underdogs against the Colts in Week 5.
Colts Win Ugly Against Bears
Indianapolis won their third straight game but there wasn’t much to choose from when it came to highlights. Philip Rivers threw a first quarter touchdown, followed by four field goals from Rodrigo Blankenship. The fact the kicker is the second player mentioned in this round up tells you just about everything you need to know about the performance. Budding superstar Jonathan Taylor was held to 68 rushing yards on 17 carries, while none of the Colts receivers topped 60 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Indianapolis held Chicago to 28 yards on the ground. The Bears had a little bit more success through the air but in the end Nick Foles failed to reach the 250 yard mark. It was a great all around performance by a unit that is quickly gaining a strong reputation in NFL circles. Credit the victory to both a great effort on defense and a weak opponent.
Expect Line To Trend In Browns Direction
Tune in to Sportscenter and you may not see the Colts highlights. That’s because there really weren’t any to speak of. Tune in to that same broadcast and you’ll see Beckham Jr. plays on a near constant loop. With the Browns sure to receive the bulk of the media’s attention of the next week, it will be natural to see public money side with Cleveland. If you’re looking to bet on the Browns, the correct play would be to get your money in soon while they are still listed as underdogs. If your trust lies with the Colts and their strong defensive unit, waiting closer to kickoff could result in higher value.
